Terry's Tree Service

Terry and his team did a wonderful job. The tree I needed removed was in a location with difficult access. He problem solved with me and figured out a way to get a truck back there to avoid costly moving of the tree. His team worked quickly and efficiently and did everything we agreed on. He gave me advice about some other issues as well. I will definitely call them again next time I need work done.

It was quality work. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves. They're very professional and friendly. Their price was reasonable.

They were very timely. They came when they said they would. They cleaned up all their, pretty good cleaned up around where they worked. They were working on two and half acres. Very nice, very responsive, but not quite as good as Bacas okay. No as good, not as good and not as expensive as Bacas either. That is also good information. This was in an orchard and I didn't want to pay top dollar like with Bacas, I just wanted them to get around my house.

Showed up on time day after initial call. Had lots of helpers so didn't take long. Good clean up afterwards.

It was a lot of money. It was expensive. But, we had another man come out and give us an estimate. He was going to be more expensive for what we wanted done. We had another man coming out. He was the cheapest of all but he didn't have the bucket truck which we felt we needed to go up high into the trees and cut the trees. So he was not going to be able to do what we needed to do. So we went with the cheaper of the two that could do what we wanted to do. He gave us a price for each step as we went along. He also cut the trees that were growing over the house. Everything was wood chipped. They ended up as little tiny pieces. They hauled everything away. Tree trunks that were too big to be put in the wood chipper were all cut up into removable logs and they hauled everything away. Because the big trees were growing all over the house he had to sub-contract a crane to come in. A big steel cable was tied around the tree trunks so that they would not fall on the house as he cut them with a chain saw. He had that for several hours. He paid for that out of the money we paid him. That man with that crane was not cheap. I don't know how much he paid. Terry is very careful. He is very good at what he does. He is an easy person to work with. He is friendly and he is competent at what he does. You can talk over what you want done. He will give you advises on what he thinks needs to be done or what he would do. We were very pleased with his work. We had him, his son and two or three people out here for approximately 40 hours worth of work.

I did not use his service, the aggravation alone in getting the written estimate was enough.

We had a scheduled appointment this past Friday, May 4, 2012 and he was a no-show and I never heard from him. When a company doesn't even call, it's hard to move forward. When I initially called him, he said that he was with a client and that he would call right back. I didn't get a call back until the next day. I wasn't bothered by that at the time, but when we arranged this appointment and he didn’t call back, it was like being put off a second time. That was enough for me. I don’t know the circumstances as to why he didn’t show up or call. I refunded my Big Deal.

I would recommend them. They did pretty good. They were the first ones who could come out.

It cost me several hundred dollars. We had a 40 foot tall tree that was dying and they cut it back and medicated it. They were professional and they came when they said they were going to be here. They guaranteed the tree and so we will have to see. I don't know what tree service cost and I am not familiar with it. I won't be able to tell about the quality because it depends if we retain the tree. They were responsive in talking to us and telling us what was wrong with it.

Great! Cleaned up all debris after tree was cut down, including debris in the neighbors' yards. They were very careful as they came through our home with the branches and trunk. We were also planning on getting the stump grinded, but we weren't able to get our door off the track to enable Terry to get the stump grinder to the backyard. He plans to come back in the next few days after we get the door off to grind the stump, and he will not charge us anything extra beyond the quoted amount originally provided. That's great customer service!
