Description of Work: after long delay, he provided an estimate for remodeling that did not provide any details or optional information we had asked for. He did not respond to requests for more detail except for a short phone call which did not answer our questions. We choose another contractor.

+ -1 moreOverall, the project went very well. We had hired another contractor for the job who quit the project after starting it. McGinley Construction came in, re-did the poor work that was done by the previous contractor and did all the work we wanted done to our architects specs. Since completing the job, there was a problem with the roof (almost 2 yrs later). McGinley Construction responded quickly and is correcting the problem.
Description of Work: New roof; added large addition to home; new heating/cooling; new hot water; electrical;

+ 0 moreOn both jobs they came in gave estimate and perfomance date. We were swo pleased that we had trhem bid a remodel of a shed into a usefull heated work space.No problems with the job and the results were great. They are expesnive but worth iut.
Description of Work: They didtwo jobs for us. A remodel of a bathroom and a remodel of an outbuilding at a business we owned. Now that was over 10 years ago. I no longer own the home or the business so I do not have the redordes ofr costs etc. They were expensive but did a great jpob at both sites. They performed on time aqnd did a total cleanup

+ 2 moreVery pleased. Completed on time. When they said they would be there, they were there. Supervision was minimal. Job foreman had other interests and did not visit job site very often. Senior finish carpenter (Rick) was a very good point of contact. Highly recommend this builder. You will pay more, but the quality is worth it.
Description of Work: We needed to have a window opening resized and then install new Pella window. Outstanding workmanship. Very pleased. Had (4) Solar Tubes installed throughout house. Very pleased with installation. Only one complaint about getting grease on the ceiling and ceiling did not accept primer or paint. Had skylight in kitchen removed to make room for new over-the-cooktop exhaust fan. Very good job. Neat work. Cleaned the house very well, but left garage a mess with all the sawdust and debris. Follow-up: ALL minor problems fixed without any difficulty. Very pleased with response.

+ 4 moreWe were told that McGinley was one of the best at repairs on homes. He was said to make things better than it was when it was first built. He contracts out on some things, but makes sure that everyone involved is professional and does a great job. Everything was coordinated well and once our home insurance was settled, everything went quickly.
Description of Work: We had a leak in our ceiling area. The ceiling area was damaged, the crawlspace had mold and water damage and the roof had water damage.
