Myles was EXACTLY what we needed. Miles did a very professional and thorough home inspection on a house we were considering buying. He was prompt in responding to my calls, and patient in explaining all aspects of the inspection to us. He helped us prioritize what areas in the inspection needed to be dealt with right away, and what areas could be taken care of later. He was forthcoming with information on homes, construction practices, and specifically this home and the way it was built. He is very knowledgeable about construction and repairs. He is a busy guy and yet he was very available. He is truly a professional and the money we spent for the home inspection is worth every penny. He helped us prevent which later could be costly damage and repairs. I highly recommend him! He is easy to work with, very professional and knowledgeable.

Miles is great at home inspections. He is extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions thoroughly. The home I am purchasing had been foreclosed, so the previous owners were unavailable to answer questions. I had some hesitations about the house and Miles was able to give me a better understanding of all the issues I had seen and also showed us other problems we had missed. Overall, I couldn't recommend him more.

The inspection was well organized and thorough. The inspector was obviously knowledgeable. A detailed report with plenty of supporting color photos was delivered in less than six hours. It went fantastic and Mr. Dyson was very patient with all of what I thought were silly questions. The inspection was very thorough and he explained exactly what he was doing at all times. We have been in the house for 8 months and he identified things that we had not noticed. He was punctual, very businesslike and friendly at the same time. We feel this was a very good investment of our money and highly recommend him.

I was very pleased with the services of Mr. Miles Dyson. He was at the address before the time agreed on, and spent about 3 hours performing a very meticulous inspection. He showed and explained his findings with high degree of expertise and clarity. I had a detailed 58-page report with plenty of pictures and descriptions. Inspection Connection LC (Miles Dyson) is the best home inspection service that we have ever used, and we've used a few over the years. This is the second time that we have used Miles to perform a home inspection. Miles is extremely knowledgable, thorough and professional. He saved us a bunch of potential trouble on a house we were considering buying last year, so we turned to him again to perform a full inspection on a new house that we purchased and that was just completed. His thoroughness, breadth of knowledge on the building codes and building techniques in the area, and his patience and willingness to explain things are outstanding. Not only is Miles extremely thorough and knowledgeable, he is also a pleasure to work with. We would heartily recommend him without hesitation!

Miles got there to do the inspection before we did and we were 5 minutes early, he had already walked the exterior of the house and started the roof, when we got there he went back to reiterate the things he had found although minor as they was he made sure to go over everything with us. It took a couple of hours to go through everything (and trust me we did) after we got done he made sure to go over the most serious things again and made sure we understood everything he had found even the burnt out light bulbs.

Miles showed up perfectly on time and began inspecting right away. He began on the roof, and used props (business cards, etc.) to show roof damage, etc. in the photos for the documentation report. (As a side note, I followed him around for the entire inspection, asking all kinds of questions, which he graciously answered, even when they were totally irrelevant.) He moved around the outside of the house, and was very professional in his conversations with other inspectors on the property that day. He went beyond poking around, tested everything and clearly showed items that needed attention. In the report, these items were highlighted, accompanied by illustrations. When he was done (again, very thorough: it took him about 3 hours--including the pestering by me) he provided a bunch of really useful information, along with the bill. Then he emailed a pdf of the report the next morning (less than 15 hours later.) The report included an "executive summary" that concisely highlighted the findings. This was really incredibly helpful (especially because we were on a short timeline) but made me feel a little guilty...that was a bunch of work, and he completed it really efficiently (i.e. Miles: don't work yourself too much!) All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better experience! When we get a house, we'll be calling Miles to do an energy audit, too!

I think the list in his report will be easy to follow. It will help me explain to contractors exactly what is necessary to get my condo in good shape to sell.

Overall it went very well. The inspection report was very thorough. The recommendations for improvements made sense and were clearly things that will add value and reduce energy costs for the future.
