Description of Work: Put rain gutters on new home. Have had to have them come out 3 or 4 times to correct one section and fix leaks. Have been responsive but wish it had been done better initially.

Description of Work: Clinger Pro Roofing did two jobs for us at this time. In December 2013 we contracted with them to have the roof of our home replaced when it was apparent to have do so because of several leaks. This job was done in January 2014. The flat section of the roof was replaced with a TPO membrane system. This system comes in two colors, white and a darker rust or reddish brown color. We were not informed of this and the job was done in white which contrasted drastically with the desert rose color of the stucco of our home. When I complained to the owner, Mr. Darrell Clinger, and he responded "No problem, we'll paint it" I asked Mr. Clinger how long paint was supposed to last and he replied "Three to five years." I seriously doubted this because the TPO product is a very strong water resistant product and the paint appeared to have no means of penetration to form any base for a primer. In less than one year the paint was chipping all over the roof and visible edges. In the course of replacing the roof it was apparent that the parapets needed extensive stucco work. The stucco on the house and surrounding walls also needed work so it was decided to have the house and walls re-stuccoed. Mr. Clinger stated that he had an excellent sub-contractor available who could do the job for us. Reluctantly, this was agreed to on Clinger Pro Roofing's contract, and the job commenced in February 2014. Shortly after that it became apparent that the job was poorly done, initially moisture was bleeding through the stucco and causing discoloration. I contacted Mr. Clinger about this and he told me to contact the sub-contracter , Jesus (no last name given.) During the week of Mother's Day 2014 Jesus finally came out to look at the job and stated "Hmm, you do have a problem but it is under warranty and we'll take care of it." I heard nothing further from Jesus. During the remainder of 2014 I repeatedly tried to contact Mr. Clinger, some with repeated calls or trips to his office, to get some response to the problem to no avail. Finally, in early 2015 he sent Mr. Steve Sanchez, who now was in the employ of Clinger Pro Roofing as their stucco man out to look at the problem. By this time there was additional bleeding in the stucco, chipping, cracking, and patches where the stucco did not match. Mr. Sanchez noted all this and remarked that the job was not properly preped which allowed water to seep in from the ground to cause the initial bleaching. When I told him that Jesus, a former sub-contractor of Mr. Clinger, had done the job he appeared stunned and said that he would report this to Mr Clinger and they would repair the damages. Shortly after that Mr. Clinger informed me that there were minerals in the soil that caused this and he was not responsible. I contend that if there were minerals in the soil it should have been discovered in prepping for the job and notice given before hand. Description of Work: I asked for a some repair work to a facia and a repair of a leaky section of porch. They came by, measured and generated a reasonable quote including removal of the 2 layers of 90lb. mineral roofing from my porch and installation of a TPO membrane. I asked for 24 hours notice of their installer showing so I could make arrangements for my dogs. |Two weeks later I get a call in the afternoon asking if they can do the work that day. I declined and made scheduled the work for the next week. Next week and the installer did not show. I called and scheduled again, and again a no show. In both cases I did not receive a phone call to let me know. After speaking to the woman who answers the phone for Clinger I made a third appointment for the work. Success! |I spoke to the installer on the phone as I couldn't take the time off to inspect the work as it happened. I asked him not to do the quoted paint work as I wanted to get the project done and did not want more delays. I completed the paint work myself for $30 of paint and 1 hour of my slow labor, I was quoted $250 for paint. |The next week the bill arrived, the paint work was still listed. A phone call and another week and paint work was removed. By this time I had thoroughly inspected my porch and found the 2 layers of mineral roofing had not been removed. I could see all the old nails that held the roofing down to the decking and feeling along the edge of the TPO membrane I can feel both layers of the fabric. By this point I have had enough of them, I emailed them to let them know that the work wasn't done properly and I would not pay that line item ($184 for "Patio Roof on West Side remove and dispose of old roofing"). I corrected the tax and sent them a cheque for the total, which they cashed without apology. | |In short, not professional, will charge for work not done.

Description of Work: Put a brand new roof over my existing one which had leaked for 12 years.

Description of Work: I didn't use Clinger because I had something else come up that took the money I would've needed for the new roofing. However a neighbor across the street from me used them and they did a fantastic job! They were there the first day till like 7 p.m. and then they came back the second day and finished up the job. They were very careful to clean up afterwards as I watched the whole process. I will use them once I'm in a position again to have the roof re-shingled. They also had the best price of all the companies I called for estimates. Plus they had done another neighbor's roof which was another reason why I contacted Clinger in the first place. Both roofs look good and neither neighbor has complained about the work Clinger has done and from what I watched, I can understand why there were no complaints.

Description of Work: Had Clinger Pro Roofing give me a quote on repairing a roof. They called me the next day and set up an appointment to look at the roof to be repaired. They were on time and informative about the roof repair. I had limited funds and could not have the roof repaired at this time so I did not have any work done by them.

Description of Work: I started a roof repair job and was unable to complete it. The folks from Clinger Pro Roofing were very professional and did an excellent job. I felt that the price was very fair for the work they did.

Description of Work: Have used this company for over 2 years now, always with excellant results both in roofing maintenance and repairs of interior water damage (not their fault). Recommended them to a freind, who redid his entire roof with excellant results.
