We had a great experience with them. They took 10 days to complete the job. That was our living quarters so they hurried up to do it. They cleaned every night before they leave and they make sure their is no trash left. They leave the floor clean. When we got ready to move, they helped move our furniture in. They helped us move the refrigerator. We offered to give them money but they refused.

He comes highly recommended in our little town and so we scheduled some time to meet with him in late April to discuss our plans for an addition. He showed up on time and we discussed at length what we wanted. I never got a good sense that he fully grasped the upstairs addition because he just seemed a bit confused. But no matter, we wanted to know the approximate cost for the addition (we knew it wouldn't be cheap!) He stated that he would go directly home and work on the rough estimate (are we talking $30k? $50? $100k) and get right back to us. 2 weeks went by and nothing. My husband called him to check in. He stated he was a little behind but would get to it right away. Another 2 weeks went by and nothing. My husband called him again to check in. He promised he would work on the estimate "that weekend". Another 8 weeks have gone by (for a total of 3 months!) and we have obviously given up. If Caspersen didn't want the job, he should have simply been honest and told us. There are other builders in the area and we would gladly have contacted them (and will soon). I absolutely cannot tolerate lying ("I'll get right on it" when he obviously had no intention of writing up the estimate). It is extremely disrespectful to us and also, makes me wonder if he would ever follow through even if he were awarded the bid! One really has to wonder. I'm sure Caspersen is talented and that is how he has built his reputation. But he has seriously marred his reputation in my estimation by disrespecting my family and lying. I would not recommend him.

We are very pleased with our new kitchen. He installed a new sink, which we bought ourselves, along with the hardware. He made many useful suggestions which we are very grateful for since we didn't know much about what we were trying to do. He always cleaned up any mess the men made before leaving for the day, and the job was all completed in a timely fashion.
