Vince Diaz

I asked VInce to do some exterior painting of posts. He said it would take about three days of four hour work days, and he could do it for $600-$700. I had worked with Vince before, and it seemed reasonable that his expenses might not be certain. Note that I supplied the paint. When he finished on the third day, he said "I kind of low-balled you up-front. How about $1,200? !!!" I didn't pay him $1,200 but I paid him more than I should have. Never again.

Mr. Diaz has a huge problem with keeping commitments. I called and it took several calls for him to call back. We discussed job and pricing and came to agreement. He made commitment to complete job but never showed up. After several calls I informed him on voice mail that this was not acceptable behavior. He called me back, made new appointment with the understanding that he must call my tenant before arriving. He showed up without calling. He did do the jobs requested, apparently the quality was fine as I am not in town and solved all the issues. I called again with more work - a semi urgent job, leaking faucet in bathroom, tenant could not use. He did not respond promptly. I finally reached him and he went by location then spoke with me and made commitment to purchase parts and return the next day to replace valve. He never showed up and I had to hire a regular plumber to show up and pay extra for emergency Saturday work. He finally returned my calls and I informed him I gave the job to someone else and I would call him back. He did do one more small plumbing job for me and made repairs without consulting me which were not acceptable nor to my liking. I called a few days later and left him a message stating that I could not work with someone so unreliable. He called back approx Monday Feb 16, 2015 - I agreed to give him another chance after I informed why I was upset. He stated he agreed with me and would respond reliably. He made commitment to review several repairs that needed to be done and fix the job he did that was not acceptable and would contact me on Saturday Feb 21st. It is now Tuesday February 24th and I have not heard a word from him. I will not use him again and would never recommend him to anyone.

When I called, Vince responded immediately. Came to my apartment and looked it over, listened to what I wanted, and gave me an estimate. He returned on the scheduled day with one other person. The work was done over about three days in August and September. They didn?t seem always to bring the proper supplies. They first tried to work with insufficient tools and wound up having to come back with proper tools. Installation of the store room shelves, a fairly extensive job, was nicely done. The laundry shelves was a smaller job, but had to be redone. Vince was persistent in getting the work completed properly though; I was not left waiting for work to be completed; and he cleaned up. And the price was good.

The fence and gate that Vince built and installed was exactly what we had discussed. He was slightly behind the agreed time in installing it and came on Thanksgiving morning and completed the install and final touches. While doing so I discovered that it wasn't going to keep our new dog in as he is a digger (Which we didn't have when we contracted for the fence) . Vince had a couple of ideas, I agreed to them and they were completed on 30 November at a reasonable extra charge. I will be using him again.

Vince is very good. He really does the job right. Some people would just do enough to get the swamp coolers running, but Vince really cleaned everything really thoroughly. His prices are very good. The $435 includes materials, and materials were around $200 (thick Mastercool pads are very expensive).

He wouldn't call me back to set up service.

I couldn't have done it without them. They were professional, efficient, and eager to do the work.

Sink that wouldn't drain ended up being a larger job than expected. There had to be digging and replacing of a very old pipe that was clogged.

Mr Diaz formed a great service for me. Great Job Vince. I am gonna hire him again. He worked 2 days for me 3rd of aug 13 and 4th of aug 13

Great! Mr. Diaz is the best multi-talented craftsman that I know of.

They completed the job in one day and the results were perfect with the patterned aligned parallel to the walls through the house. The price for the installation was also very fair. The workers were very hardworking, polite and professional. The office staff was responsive including calling me a day ahead of the scheduled installation to confirm the appointment. This was a rare treat for me when dealing with contractors and I will definetely use their company next time I have carpet installation needs.

In each case Mr. Diaz did an excellent job. His only weak point is in the area punctuality, but his workmanship and price are worth the wait.
