We called to request a bid on zeroscaping our yard and repairing our front porch. Linda came out promptly, bringing some pictures of other work they had done. After discussing what type of materials etc., she said she would return the next day (Thursday) with someone to help her measure the yard and take a look at the porch. She didn't show up Thursday morning as promised so we called. She said something had come up and would be here at 9:00am Friday. When she hadn't arrived by noon we called and she said they'd come Monday. She did come Monday and measured the yard but didn't bring anyone to look at the porch. She said she'd do the calculations and give us an estimate that would be good for 45 days. We haven't heard from her since. It seems pond-S-scapes is more of a hobby than a business.

Stay away from this scam artist!!!!!!!! Linda bid a price of $18,000, but final price was approx $25,000. Then had to spend approx $10,000 for a couple of capable contractors to fix everything; plus my own labor. The electrical work was extension cords with the ends cut off, which shorted out when it rained. When we complained Linda took the pond lights and never returned. We were told, she used them in another project. She would not accept any responsiblity for the electrical problems we had after the pond installation (and her contract said "she did not perform any electrical work"). How does a company that installs pond pumps and pond lights not perform electrical work. Check out BBB of New Mexico for reviews of her work. We wish we had. And most important - read the contract carefully! It is really hard to sue Linda the way the contract is written - everytime she is sued, she probably rewrites the form.

They had put in a pond for me and did a great job. Because I am disabled I could not take care of it. I had a friend clean the filter for me. The last time he could not pull it out because there were 6 to 8 inches of roots in it. He did the best he could but the pond later overflowed. I called the company and talked to Linda. I called at 4pm in the afternoon and told them I had an emergency. She came right over and cleaned out the filter and roots. The next day someone who was dropping something off to me brought it to my attention that my side yard and whole patio had flooded and the fish were dead. I called Linda again and she came out. She said there was a strong smell of chlorine and that is what killed the fish. I told her I could not take care of it anymore due to my disability. She offered to drain it at that time. She called a week later and said the man that does the work had a sick relative so Linda came out herself and drained the pond. I think they give really good service. I am unsure of the price because I am still paying off when they installed the pond. The price has been reasonable for me because I am on a fixed income and she has given me some good discounts. She has been right there all the time for me. When I call her she comes, with a little of a delay every once in a while. She would always tell me a time she would be here. She would be here when she said she would be here. She is very professional. I would use them again in the future.

Do not deal with these people. They provided dubious pricing (labor charge was the exact same as materials charge). They bought cheap materials. They did not pay their sub-contractor who put a materialsmen lien on our property, despite us having paid in full. They lied and literally scammed us. We have an open complaint with the attorney general's office against this company.
