Favela's Painting & Stucco

Favela's will not finish the job, breaks windows and expects us to pay for it, and him and his crew thinks it's funny to spray my dogs with stucco (Our groomer and vet say the only way to remove it is to shave them) He has disappeared for 2 weeks and demands payment for the rest of the job that he NEVER EVEN FINISHED. They are very, very messy and leave their trash EVERYWHERE. Claims that "commercial" customers are more important and finishing our house would make him lose money. **** this guy

Favela's was hired by my contractor to prime and paint a room when the primary painter was unavailable. Mr. Favela demanded payment prior to completing the work and, in fact, never completed the job. After spraying paint all over the windows, and freshly painted doors, he disappeared for two days leaving his paint sprayer on the floor in a can of paint (which was ruined by being left open). Upon his return he cleaned the overspray off of the windows and window frames and disappeared. My contractor and I ended up painting the room myself.

the stucco work and paint came out good. I had some water damage on rear of house that needed additional work that was not on the original bid. Corrective action was taken to repair the damage. The problem is they did not complete all the work as promised. They did not complete the the painting on the repaired area on rear of house, did not finish painting the front entry door and security door, Did not finish power washing the sidewalks, driveway and roof. they left me a mess. He had a max of 2 days work to finish. I called him many times, He has not returned my calls or he does not keep appointments , I have no idea why he walked off the job.

They used a quality Dunn Edwards paint. They did a good repair job on the parapets and patched up all the cracks in the stucco. Did a undercoat and painted the exterior with trim paint on door frames and doors. Looks very good. Negative: The last day Mr. Favela was not there to supervise and the last touch up and clean-up went poorly. Side door handles have paint spray on them. The garden hose cabinet has spilled paint on it, the end of the hose and spray head are totally covered in gunk. There are several points where some touch up paint is needed. And masking tape is still on some of the doors. And they over-filled my trash container, so we had no room for our trash. And I was assured that they would take away all the rubbish. when I contracted with them. Mr. Favela was going to have those issues dealt with, but as of February 12, has not done so. I would use this service again, but will monitor much closer before I give the final payment.

There was a lot of stucco damage on the roof (weather damage). All was carefully repaired, the entire house was repaired where needed and painted with the best quality paint. All of the cracked stucco and construction materials were completely removed from the property. Attention to detail was amazing. It is a beautiful job. Thank you Favela Painting!
