I was able to communicate well with the workers what I wanted. They brought all the tools necessary to do the job and were very professional.

Both jobs were performed more quickly than I expected, professionally, and surpassed my expectations. These guys are superb!

I called thinking I would get an appointment in the next couple of weeks and they said they could be at my house in 45 minutes. Back yard look great!!

I called these guys back to fix another couple of leaks in my sprinkler system. They were out in a jiffy, fixed the leaks in a jiffy and were just as upbeat and pleasant as they were the time before. This makes two times I have called upon them and I will definitely call them again in the future. Highly recommended outfit.

Our irrigation system had sprung a leak. Ty came out and looked at the leak, found the source, and then looked at the "guts" of the system which was not up to code. He explained why we had had 2 leaks in the past 5 months, and that this would continue due to the way the system was put in. He replaced the workings, fixed the leak for today and the future, pulled out 2 UGLY bushes, and cleaned the area up. He even gave me some tips as to what types of plants would look good in the area worked on. We will hire them again. The guys worked HARD in the heat and got things done quickly.

.A house I just bought and have not yet spent much time in was drawing complaints from neighbors because of a sprinkler system that was overwatering and coming on at wrong times. I had tried to reprogram it but failed. I called Clean-Cut and they had a technician out to fix the problem within the hour. As a result of their promptness and professional attitude, I have asked them to do yard maintenance for me twice a month.

It went very well. Their response time was great. I called them this morning and they were here within an hour. Their price today was fine but their installation price I thought was a little high.

I have only rave reviews for these guys. I bought the four-hour package advertised here on Angie's list. They called in less than an hour and were available to work the next day. They showed up when they said they would and walked my sprinkler system with me as I pointed out what I wanted moved or tweaked. They asked knowledgeable questions, offered good suggestions, and got right to work. I liked it their work so much that I hired them back for the next day to do some additional projects. The new sprinkler add-ons work beautifully and the plants are perking up. I highly recommend Clean Cut. Not only would I hire them again in an instant, I plan to.

I realize this review is from work 6 years ago, but I felt it necessary to share with this community my experience with this contractor. My wife and I decided to build a pool after building our house in '08. We were in a rush to get the backyard landscaped ASAP so the pool contractor could plaster and we could enjoy it for the last half of the summer. Jud returned our call almost immediately, and came by our house the next day to look at our property and gin up a quote. He was very responsive at the onset. The first day he showed up with a crew of maybe 7 or 8 guys. They went over the plans and it was off to work digging trench lines for the irrigation system. They guys decided it would be funny to throw rocks, but instead of hitting each other, they were hitting the stucco on the house chipping it. I stepped outside after hearing a rock hit my house and shut it down. Looking back I wish I would have just cancelled the entire contract at that point, I have regretted that decision ever since. One night pulling into the driveway from work, I noticed mud tracks that traced from my side yard out to the street. This wasn't just a minor dirt trail, I'm talking chunky piles of mud formed up on the street and through the crushed rock on the side yard. I instantly knew this was going to be a problem. There was a business card on my front door from my subdivision owner asking me to give him a call. I called first thing the following morning, he advised me that the mess needed to be cleaned up ASAP, so I contacted Jud. Apparently this was no concern to Jud, he advised me he didn't have anybody available to clean the mess up and he was busy going to collect a check from another customer....priorities I guess. Needless to say I spent about 4 hours that morning cleaning up the street and my side yard from all the mud drug out from the Bobcat. And the fix for the mud on the side yard was to pour more crushed rock over the top. Over the past 6 years I have dug up my drip line at least 10 times patching hose connections that busted open. I have dug up/replaced the PVC line that connects the water main to the irrigation manifold because they decided to make a 120 degree turn using a 90 degree elbow. I had a second contractor come through and replace half of the sprinklers and reallocate water pressure through the system because the sprinkler heads don't come out of the ground at 90 degree angles. I dug up an elevated section of the yard and replanted a three palm trees because they planted them in a 50/50 mix of crushed rock and dirt. 50% of my yard does not have overlapping water coverage. 25% of my yard does not have water coverage at all. At one point I honestly thought about starting all over again from scratch. This was the worst contractor experience I've ever had. I wouldn't refer this company to my worst enemy.

Work was performed as agreed and on time; pricing was reasonable. The workers were professional and knowledgeable. The owner of Clean Cut Lawn Service was attentive and responsive, following through from start to finish.

First of all, the company returned my call within 5 minutes! i was pleasantly surprised as here, in the Las Cruces area, I've found it difficult to get landscaping/yard work companies to even show up when they've been scheduled. The gentleman who called (I believe it was the owner) was very professional and courteous. He explained that they worked on an hourly fee basis and the customer is in control. Basically you can give them a list of what needs to be done and say "work for 3 hours", etc. he also stated that if I was not satisfied that he would do whatever was necessary to resolve the problem. That wasn't necessary because the work crew (3 men) were punctual and got to work right away. (By the way, the appointment was scheduled for 2 days after I had called). They finished the entire list of work within a 4-hour time period. They also cleaned up after themselves. In the past I've had some lawn companies leave clippings, blown debris, etc. Not these men. Their work was very professional. When I returned home, the trees and shrubs I asked to be removed were gone and both the front and back yard were clean, trimmed, and orderly. No debris or clippings on the driveway or walkways. I was very impressed by the professionalism, punctuality, level of service, and fair price for the yard service I received. I plan on contacting them this Spring to schedule weekly yard maintenance. i would highly recommend Clean Cut Lawn Service to anyone needing lawn and yard work in Dona Ana County, New Mexico.

They arrived exactly when they said they would. They completed the work exactly when they said they would. Jud and Mikey checked in with me during the entire process to be sure everything was as I wanted. We discussed the entire job prior to beginning and as the work progressed, anything I was unhappy about was addressed and corrected. All my questions were answered and nothing was dismissed as foolish or not important. I am very happy with the work and the final product, and would recommend them to any and all. The stone work and the patio are exactly what I wanted. I had discussed the job with another landscape service and they quoted me a much larger quote and told me I could not have the patio that I wanted. Julian Vasquez did a great job and if I need any further cement work I would not hesitate to use them again.

Jud was very quick in his response to our request for a free estimate. He spent a good chunk of time at our home, gathering our ideals for our backyard, and giving us some of his ideas. The good chunk of time he spent would normally be a compliment; however, when he came to our house, he brought over this horribly behaved little boy. We couldn't wait for him to leave and take this kid with him. While he was talking to us, this kid (who was probably 5), was digging holes in our backyard, picking out cement and rocks from our rock wall, climbing up and running along the rock wall, throwing rocks at us and our house, and disappearing from his sight without him even noticing or caring. All the while, Jud hardly said a word to the kid to get him to stop or be better behaved. Had Jud not brought this child over with him to give us an estimate, we may very well have secured him to do our landscaping. It's true what they say - first impressions are everything!

Jud was referred to me by my Real Estate agent who had used him for his own landscaping. I met with Jud to talk about my need for landscaping of my front yard that had just been dirt/desert for 9 years prior to my purchase of the house. He told me the ideas he had for my front yard and he listened to my concerns about what I wanted done with the landscaping. He had his crews at my house to do the landscape the first thing Monday of the following week. What was thought to be a 2 day job they got done in a single day. He had about 10 guys working on the landscaping. Along the way his foreman "Mikey" was checking in with me reconfirming the location of various features like river/ponding area, location of plants and boulders. When the job was done I noticed that one corner was landscaped may not have resolved my concerns about water runoff/washout. I contacted Jud and he was out there in 30 minutes to look at it. Originally there was not a plan to extend the large rock/stone up to my driveway but after talking to him and showing him the lay of the landscape he said they would be out the next morning to add additional large rock/stones to cover the area to insure no washout of the landscaping and to meet my satisfaction. The next morning the crews were out there and had the area done perfectly as I wanted it. Jud checked back with me and came by later that morning to inspect the work. Jud and his Foreman "Mikey" are very responsive to my input and concerns. My yard looks great! I was very impressed at how quick they were able to get the job done, and their willingness to make last minute adjustments to make sure I was pleased with my new yard.

Great! He came over on time and got right down on his hands and knees investigating our old system. He was full of information and gave an accurate estimate that he stuck to. When we called to schedule things he was quick in helping set a date. He showed up again on time with 10 people and they dived right in. In 2 days were had a new sprinkler system and beautiful lawn. He took time out of his night to review things on the phone and to schedule a time in 2 weeks to go over fertilization. He also guaranteed his work that if we had any problems he would correct them. He has been impressive from start to finish.

We had a few snags with "add-on" work that was not part of the original bid, and new water emitters that looked defective to us but proved to be a new and improved design. The company owner, Jud, handled all our problems very professionally and we split the costs of a failed experiment in wooden lattice for new grape plants.

They did a very good job and they were quick, however, they were late.

They gave me a good new replacement and I was pleased.

The crew was friendly, conscientious, punctual, and neat. They asked lots of questions to make sure they knew exactly what I wanted. Jud Soulsby, the owner introduced me to the foreman before the job and the three of us discussed the job and price. The crew finished in one day and I love the results.
