Description of Work: I really felt the owner really listened to us and what our needs and wants were. In addition, his workers showed up on time, had professional roofing equipment which made the job go quicker. He installed an entire new shingled hip roof on our home, (which had a large number of valleys), due to severe wind damage. His people thoroughly picked up at the end of the job. We would not hesitate to recommend him!

Description of Work: B&L re-roofed our house in Spring 2011. Our old roof was totally worn out, and the new roof by B&L is excellent and beautiful. We also had B&L work on the roof in Spring 2014. They patched the three holes where the old swamp coolers sat (after we installed refrigerated air), and they installed attic vents on the roof. The roof patches are almost perfect. There is a slight difference in color between the 2011 shingles and the 2014 shingles, but the color difference is probably not noticeable to anyone but us. It is actually difficult to see the locations of the patches only a couple of months after they were made. The new roof really improved the looks of our home. B&L's work was great! The roofing crews were fast and cleaned up very well after all the work.

Description of Work: In response to call for service, Baldemar Parra showed up, inspected area of my roof in question. He took some time and seemed knowledgeable in trying to diagnose a leak. He gave an oral estimate of $150 to $400 because the work would require some exploration and removal of roof materials to verify where leak is originating. I agreed to have the work done with a written estimate.

+ -1 moreThe entire project consisted of a new roof, new insulation, new heat pumps, condensate drain lines, elastomeric paint, new electrical boxes and solar panels. Band L Roofing, Ontiveros Insulation, Starrett's Heating and Cooling and Sunspot Solar Energy did a great job of working around each other to keep the project on Schedule. The whole project took 2 weeks. I am pleased with all of these contractors.
Description of Work: I did a major renovation on my roof. B&L tore off my old gravel roof and removed some of the decking so that Ontiveros Insulation could blow more insulation into the air space. Because my decking was in bad shape, I had B&L do a deck-over which added $2000 to the cost of the job even though the city inspector approved the old deck. I honestly don't think the inspector walked the roof before issuing the tag. There were issues with the old deck all over the place. Three days after the new roof was installed, I painted it with elastomeric to make it last longer and reduce the solar heat gain. B&L's crew was punctual, fast and professional. They were also good about making as little mess as possible and cleaning up when they finished.
