Advanced Window Films

Jim was excellent. He was honest and actually told me my windows were just fine and I didn’t need an upgrade on them. I valued his honesty and he answered all my questions. And he didn’t charge me for all his great advice.

I have three living room windows and a storm door - all facing west. Even double paned windows and closed blinds didn't keep the room from getting hot in the afternoon. James came out to give an estimate. I was impressed enough with him that I didn't get any more estimates as I had originally planned. He was right on time for the installation and got right to setting up equipment, but explained what he was doing the whole time. I have been extremely happy with the results. The room is much cooler and that should save on my air conditioning bill!

Very punctual and responsive to our decision to tint our windows in the master bath. He recommended that we do the removal of the old window tinting in order to save us dome $. Work was very nicely done and he did an excellent job in cleaning up as well as applying the window tint

He has an impressive work ethic. Very punctual, informative and professional. The job was completed in a timely manner and he was able to work around our schedule. We will be calling on him again.

After we saw Advanced Window Films at our local home and garden show, we decided to get an estimate to treat the west facing windows in our home. James-the owner was right on time for the appointment. He explained the differences in the films. We looked at samples, and chose one that looked like it would work best for our situation, fading, glare and heat in the interior. After getting the cost for the job, we set up an appointment to get the film applied. Once again James was right on time, and ready to get to work. He was very meticulous in preping the glass and appling the film. He wasn't happy until it was perfect. As the owner and installer, he cares about how the job is done, and how the job comes out. Its kind of messy due to spraying water to clean the glass. Then more spraying to apply the film. He used plenty of towels, a drop cloth, and took care not to get anything wet except for the glass. We had 14 windows filmed. It took most of the day which was fine with us. Our concern was that it was done right., and it was. The windows look like they came from the factory this way.

WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THE PROFESSIONAL JOB THAT WAS COMPLETED. WE WERE TOLD, THAT, THE FILM MAY CRACK A WINDOW, FOR WHATEVER REASON. ONE WINDOW DID CRACK. WE CALLED OUR INSTALLER,WHO HANDLED THE CONTACT WITH 3-M,SENT A WINDOW INSTALLER OUT TO MEASURE,REPLACE THE CRACKED WINDOW,THEN, THE INSTALLER,JAMES, RETURNED TO REPLACE THE FILM ON THE CRACKED WINDOW. THE INITIAL REPLACEMENT CALL WAS MADE ON 2/08/2010 AND THE JOB COMPLETED BY 3/2/2010. WAITING FOR THE GLASS TOOK THE LONGEST DELAY. JAMES DID EVERYTHING HUMANLY POSSIBLE TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM IN A TIMELY MATTER. Aand A GET AN "A" FROM US.
