A Plus Certified Home Inspections

I had a large, complicated property in escrow in Silver City, New Mexico. My wife & I were relocating from California and didn't have any local contacts. I needed a smart, multi-talented inspector who could do a full inspection including analyzing the electrical system (which had been re-built) & estimating how much repair this property would need to function as both a main home and Airbnb destination. We were excited but also stressed. Victor DeAndrea was thorough, multi-skilled, and right-on in his analysis of the pros & cons of the property. His detailed analysis saved us thousands of dollars and the realtor & owner of the property were impressed by his excellent report. I'm sure Victor's background in construction and work as a certified government electrical inspector and overall heads-up style and excellent communication skills helped us make a good decision in letting go of a problematic property that we had "fallen in love with". Victor is experienced enough to have seen many situations but young enough and fit enough to crawl into the attic, the basement, and on the roof. He knew all the many things an excellent home inspector needs to know. And he could communicate to a lay person like myself. He knew all about the H-VAC system; the well; the odd roofing; the stucco deterioration; the exterior leaks; the limitations of the old plaster walls; and the rebuilt electrical system. If you're looking for professionalism and real, hands-on knowledge of a building from top to bottom, he is your man. He really gave us our money's worth. And encored by inspecting a smaller property that we found the following week. I wish all professionals had the skill & personal integrity that Victor DeAndrea has. I recommend him most highly.
