Description of Work: Our Furnace Died due to a heat exchanger crack, another local business diagnosed the problem and two days later I had a quote for a replacement but very little information as to brand, model or efficiency. I decided to get a couple of comparison quotes and so I called or emailed 3 other local businesses for quotes Robbins Heating & A/C responded to my email with a phone call in less than an hour and I scheduled for the next day an estimator to come out and look it over. I was very impressed with this persons knowledge and thoroughness and in two hours we had estimates for two different furnaces / A/C units of different efficiency ratings. |After waiting for the other two furnace companies to return estimates and answer questions it was a no brainer Robbins & A/C was far superior in customer satisfaction. One week later they came to install the heater and coil and agreed to hold at their place the A/C condenser because we were not electrically ready to proceed with that addition yet. Their installer and helper came the first day and got the heater and coil installed and finished up the ductwork I requested to be added in one section of the house along with repairs on another. Their work was excellent and they kept their work and traffic area cleaned up.

Description of Work: Installed air conditioner unit for house. With exeption to notificatin of scheduled installation date, I couldnt have asked for more. Consultation and installation went great and unit has worked well so far.

Description of Work: My furnace would run when I turned up the thermostat, but it wouldn't run very long, and I had to keep turning the thermostat up and down. The house wouldn't get warm, as the furnace kept turning off. Robbins Heating sent two men out and they recalibrated a part on the furnace, and it runs great now. I called Robbins and they sent the service men out within 3 hours. The service men put on shoe protectors, went to the furnace and diagnosed the problem. Then they fixed it. They were at my house for approximately an hour; they also tested the furnace and my gas fireplace for any gasses. They were professional, courteous and able. The price was amazingly good, and all in all, I was very impressed.
