This testimonial is to warn potential Sellers that RIP/OFF RE/MAX is not on your side and is not the realtor you need to use. There is no law or is it mandatory that in Colorado we pay the buyers commission and why would we anyway???? You would need to jack up the price of you land/home by 8% to pay their outlandish commission with no benefit to you. BEWARE these agents at RE/MAX do not have your best interest in mind and will do anything for a buck. DO not use this company unless you want to lose money on your investment.
Description of Work: RIP/OFF RE/MAX I chose because of there accredited reputation at a reputable company. Was I wrong. I hired a totally incompetent agent to sell my 3 acres of land (no structure, well, electricity) and was charged 8% for commission for her and the buyers agent. This is a lie and not mandatory in the state of Colorado even though she lied and told us this that we were responsible for the entire cost. So she and the buyers agent worked out this great Seller's Agreement where I paid for the Attorney's cost to draw up the contract plus half the escrow so you can see where the Seller gets ripped off and Wells Group and RIP/OFF RE/MAX are in cahoots. This is deal was entirely unethical as a Seller to pay what we did so I am warning all SELLERS do not use RIP/OFF RE/MAX they don't work for you they are entirely there to take advantage and not get you the money you deserve off your property being land or home/structure.

Darin Cahoon helped my husband and I purchase our first home. He was the listing agent but did not pressure us at all. He kept us posted at every step and was very communicative and helpful. He is extremely trustworthy and knowledgeable. We really appreciated all of his efforts. He made the process less intimidating.
Description of Work: Darin Cahoon was our real estate agent and did an excellent job.
