One man showed up at the house and I didn't know until later he had another man with him and I felt uncomfortable with. THe first man was ok but the other was sneaky.

The Tech showed up on time and was very thorough and from my description of concerns I had from the last seasons experience and soot on the stack. He immediately recognized that I had a possible cracked heat exchanger which he verified with a camera and said he would not even fire up the unit. he was also very good about getting under the house and looking at ducts and figuring out what he needed to tell his estimator. Estimator gave me quote in a day or so. I did start reading up on furnaces and decided to get a second and third opinion and quotes to compare apples to apples. unfortuantely as I learned more and wanted to get a better option for efficiency they just quit responding to my emails and phone calls. They did not charge me for the service call which was very decent of them. I really wanted to do business with them but just could not get answers and I was not willing to risk that much investment and not be satisfied with the service.

Around the same time I had Biel try to fix tankless water system in my rental home they came to my home to do maintenance work on my heating and cooling system. I was told that the rooftop system had a gap that was caused by initial installation not being done properly and that they would fix it. Later that year mice got into the system. I had another plumber come out and they said that Biel had just put duct tape around the gap in the system which over the 6 months came off and allowed mice in. I had to have the unit at that time completely lifted off of the roof and seated properly. and have all of the ducts cleaned and sucked out for all of the mouse mess. It was not Biel's fault that the unit was not seated correctly, but if he had told me I needed to do so insead of halfway doing it with duct tape I wouldn't have had to spend all the money on cleaning out the ducts and months of putrid smell from dead mice.

I called their office at 8 am and Matt showed up promptly at 10 am that same day. He was kind and courteous. He was able to perform the job that I asked of him promptly and cleaned up after himself. He made helpful suggestions for the future. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who requires plumbing assistance.

They got the unit replaced which was good. The problem was that they are expensive AND they put bright, neon green stickers on the hot water heater, the heater unit, they went under my kitchen sink and stuck one on our garbage disposal. I thought that was not appropriate. We would have called B & D but my husband and were not home, so our daughter got their number from her grandfather. She did what was needed to do at the time and they did get us taken care of. It was an emergency. But to go and put those stickers on things in our house was not right. The stickers on the heater and hot water heater were visible to anyone who walked in our back door. NOT COOL!

They are a good company. I would never call anyone else and they have done work for me for years.
