Description of Work: Took some time to isolate a boiler problem (that a different contractor did not solve), but ultimately, they fixed the issue and did high quality work. I would use them again.

He advised me to disconnect the refrigerator to allow it to thaw. He came up two hours later to inspect the refrigerator. He knew exactly what was wrong. He went to get the parts. He came back two days later and replaced the parts and my refrigerator is running great! He stayed on budget and never exceeded the estimate. He was way beyond my expectations. He was professional, clean, and courteous.
Description of Work: My refrigerator was not working. I went to the local hardware store and they recommended him. I called him and he answered immediately.

It went great. The service was outstanding very friendly and professional. I felt that the two service members went above and beyond to help and fix my air conditioner for the long term. I will certainly use them again.
Description of Work: Tightened up all my central air connections. Replaced metal tape and sealed off all holes. Charged my system with Freon

Overall, the work was done well. We have absolutely no complaints at all about the workmanship , the heating and cooling units or the professionalism. The owner and his helper came over, did their work, and cleaned up after themselves on a daily basis, so there was never a bunch of wood or metal around. They hauled off the old heating unit and the piping (etc), and they even gave us tips on how to get the best operation from the units, changing air filters and such. Also, they came back in late September to help us change over from AC to heating without any further charge. The only trouble we had was, since last summer was so hot and dry, he wasn't always available to come when he had arranged to. However, this was offset a little by the deal we got on the price. If I was to give prospective clients advice, it would be to make arrangements for the work to be done and quot;off seasonand quot;. In other words, when possible, have AC work done before the weather gets too hot and heater work done before it gets cold. Otherwise you can run into the timeliness problem.
Description of Work: My husband and I hired Ice Age to come in to install air conditioning and update our old heating unit. The owner came out to the house within a couple of days of being contacted. He took all the measurements of the heating unit and we all decided where the cooling system would be installed. The installer the ordered the heating and cooling units and had my husband and I construct a concrete platform so that he could put the cooling unit on it. Also, we had to get an electrician to come in and update our fuse box since we didn't have a 220 line. When the heater and air conditioner came in he and his helper came and installed both units and installed a new thermostat in the house. Again, since the house is older, when they installed the thermostat, they ran the wires through the attic. He had to come back to replace the thermostat because he had installed a programmable, and we wanted just an old fashioned thermostat. He made the change without any problem and with no other charges.
