Initially, I was very happy with the company. Their workers were very good, friendly, and willing to listen. I would have given him a better rating on "professionalism" however, not much better, because at the time, my elderly mother, who does not live with me, and wasn't paying for the landscaping, was going around and telling the workers what she wanted and how she wanted it which was completely different from what I wanted. I told them that I was the one writing the check, not my mother and told them to correct what I did not authorize them to do! Initially, the owner, I forgot his name, told me that as far as he was concerned, she (my mother) had authority and they weren't going to fix their mistakes from listening to my mother and not to me like they were supposed to do. They initially fixed them. The end result was a very nice job that got a lot of positive attention. However, I had a minor issue with the landscaping towards the end of the one year warranty and it was like pulling teeth to get him to come out and fix it! Just recently (2013) , I tried, and tried, and tried to contact them to come out and do some maintenance work on the landscaping that they did originally, just stuff that needs to get done, regular maintenance stuff, and the owner would not return any of my phone calls for any reason! I kept calling, and calling but he would not return my phone calls. I'm sorry, I would not hire this company again for any reason!

Our initial contact was with the person who did a very nice design. We worked well with that person, and after signing the contract, the workers came in and implemented that design rather well. The contract was expensive but we were willing to go with it because of the fine design and because of our good relationship with the designer. But the followup was horrible. Apparently the designer, our contact, left the firm soon after our installation. As would be expected, some followup issues arose as some of the plants died and we needed maintenance advice. We had been led to believe by the designer that we could contact them for followup, for repair, etc., and we were certainly willing to pay for such services. But when we called the firm, we got an extremely rude and surly person who gave us some fairy tale about how the designer wasn't available, that they would insist on the letter of the contract, and we couldn't get answers by e-mail either. They we very curt and insisted on charging us for even a visit by someone to come and look at our installation to check on warranty issues. This was in sharp contrast to the friendly and more informal manner of the designer. In other words, the followup was essentially non-existent. Because of this, we would not recommend this firm to anyone unless they change their attitude.
