"Everything in my dealing with Robbie and his team went exceptionally smooth, except for a "rain delay" due to the sod not being able to be cut. Originally scheduled for August 27th the installation was moved to the 29th. The crew arrived a little after 10AM and did an EXCELLENT job!!!! Took a little over an hour and a half and it looks great. Thank you."

LIC # 33557 Full service landscape company with more than 28 years in business. Horticulturist/owner. Over the past 30 years I have learned a lot. At New Mexico State University I was educated in Horticulture and Landscape Design. Under the Horticultural program we learned about Agronomy ( soils) , Entomology( insects) , Biology, Chemistry , Pathology ( diseases). Everthing that was needed to be a Professional. Sure I have my education but I've learned so much from my hands on experience. Many years ago when I started Summersweet Landscapes. Other landscapers would ask me. "Do you need a degree to do landscaping"? I answered " no you don't , but I do". I started Landscape Design when I was in high school. I was trained by a Horticulturist also from N.M.S.U. He taught us that the Horticultural field was a professional one. And that the industry should be respected as one. Professional. He had all students join Future Farmers of America. It was mandatory , inorder; to be enrolled in his class. We went through competition in design. In my last two years of high school competition I was on both District and State Landscape Design Championship team. I graduated with both high school diploma and two year vocational technical certificate in Horticulture. After high school I attended N.M.S.U. where I got my Bachelor in Science Degree in Agriculture. Thank you Eric and Carmela.
"We recently moved to NM and the yard at our home was neglected for a few years. The backyard needed to be cleaned up (including removing a few bushes and an old clothesline), a new irrigation system installed, and beds prepared for a variety of plants I want to install. Eric and his crew from Summersweet were excellent! I interviewed several landscapers and only Eric listened to what I wanted, offered his expert advice (his knowledge was gained thru both formal education and practical experience), and delivered what we agreed to have done! The Summersweet crew was hardworking and professional - it helped that I speak some Spanish. Carmela pleasantly and professionally handles all the behind the scenes logistics. Everything was done professionally and on time."

Ready to upgrade your outdoor space? We are ready to help as a full service landscaping company, from plant installations to pergola construction to hardscaping, paver patios, and more. We have been in business for over 17 years right here in Albuquerque and we will give your property the beautiful transformation it deserves. Contact us today to schedule your project!
"Marius recently finished up the landscaping of our backyard, and it is absolutely phenomenal. We couldn't have asked for the project to turn out any better. While the project took about 50% longer than expected, this had affect on the cost, and was mostly due to the unpredictable March weather. From the quality of the stone work to the willingness to plan, explain, and amend all along the process of completing the job Marius is willing to go above and beyond every step of the way. If you are considering landscaping in the ABQ area and you don't at least contact Streaming Visions for a drawing/plan, you are doing yourself a disservice."

"We hired Antonio about 2 years ago. His work was fine, but he was inconsistent in his communication, and unreliable about showing up when he said he would. He also refused to out us on a regular schedule, and instructed us to just call him, but then he did not return calls. We ended up hiring another company. This morning he was doing work for a neighbor at 7:30 a.m., and blocking our shared 1-lane road. I asked if he could pull his truck over so I could pass, and he was rude and dismissive. My husband came out and Antonio (the owner) became aggressive with him and screamed â  just go around!â  (There absolutely was not room). This person is unprofessIonal, rude, and aggressive."

We are a local company and have been in business for almost 5 years. We specialize in Earthmoving and removal, leveling, compacting, and any new build excavation in preparation for new construction. We have worked on commercial and residential projects for several years and ready to assist in any project.
"More than satisfied - excellent work demolishing and removing a cinder block wall. The area was completely cleaned up afterwards, all debris was collected and removed. The immediate, as well as surrounding area, was cleared and leveled just to add a nice unexpected finish. Very happy with the work, communication, and extra effort by Miguel resulting in a finished job that was better than I expected. I highly recommend this company and would not hesitate to use them again!!! Thanks for a job well done!"

The cost to reseed or overseed a lawn is about $1,050 on average, ranging from $450 to $1,700, depending on lawn size, seed type, and location. Popular seed types for residential lawns include bahia, fescue, and Bermuda. Keep in mind that it costs $0.10 to $0.20 per square foot to seed or overseed a lawn. Additional cost factors may include:
Fertilization: $80–$400
Soil testing: $700–$2,100
Yard cleanup and leaf removal: $200–$560
Treating weeds: $110–$325
Mowing: $50–$210
On average, the cost of lawn fertilization is $250, ranging from $80 to $400, depending on the size of the lawn, its current condition, additional treatments, number of applications, fertilizer type, and location. Keep in mind that labor, tools, and equipment make up 80% to 90% of the total cost of lawn fertilization. Additional lawn treatment options include:
Lime treatment: $100–$150 per 1,000 square feet
Crabgrass treatment: $30–$80
Grub treatment: $30–$80
Mulching: $150–$400
Dethatching: $265–$295
Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.
When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
Landscaping costs around $3,500 but varies widely from $200 to $14,000. Factors that play a part in your final landscaping price tag include:
Location
Yard size
Project size
Materials
Land preparation
Type of landscaping
Considering so many factors, it’s not surprising that the overall costs can differ. A typical landscaping project is flower bed installation, which averages between $800 and $3,000. However, landscape lighting installation is a higher-end project, with a price tag of $2,000 to $6,000.
