Took about 3 weeks to get scheduled. Once it was scheduled, his people showed up for the demolition and then installed the new cabinets. They called their own contract plumber to replace and cap a water line for the refrigerator, the guy did poor work and used cheap materials for the line. Cabinet install went well overall. Good work.

We wild definitely use Richard Shaw Construction again. They were prompt, did a great job and had a great price. Very happy!!

Everything went very well. The contractor and his staff were professional and did everything in a timely manner. I am very pleased with the outcome and the price was very reasonable. We kept adding things that we wanted them to do and they did them without any issue. My kitchen was out of commission for less than 4 weeks and we could not be more proud. I now have a new kitchen with more space and we love the outcome.

They were good. They worked during the day and were good. They also worked at my house.

Great to work with. Friendly and courteous with helpful ideas. Work was done in a timely manner, all work done to my expectations. Cost were right on estimate provided. Very happy with results. Will use this company again.

All work was done as agreed upon. Workers showed up exactly on time and were pleasant and polite. Owner came to inspect work on completion to see if it was satisfactory. Beautiful job.

Showed up the day he promised. Actually took 1/2 day less than he allowed for. Performed in a more than timely fashion

All seemed to go as expected. Contacted for doing an estimate to replace some support beams in the basement of a small house I was renovating. Came over with no issues, did a walk though and took measurements. Left on good terms with a promise to get back to me with the quote and timeframe for completion. Short story...several phone calls later with zero response, not even a "not-interested-in-the-job" type of discussion. Never heard from again. If that is how customers are treated I will never contact or recommend for any future jobs.

Richard Shaw was very easy to work with. He was honest and always helpful with decisions, yet not pushy. He did exactly what I asked.

Casey Shaw and co-worker came on Friday and installed the 2 back doors. The two doors were too tall so they cut the frames and made them fit perfectly. They were on time, very nice and worked till they finished. They came back a few days later and installed the front door. They also installed a new screen door that we decided was needed since we had a new front door. Richard Shaw also came by and inspected the work which was done to our satisfaction. Richard had them add some trim around the back doors(free of charge) which hid the caulking and made the doors look even better. They also had to re-do some wood trim inside the two back doors. They purchased the trim sanded, stained and it matched perfectly. Overall Richard Shaw Construction did a fabulous job! We are happily enjoying our new doors! They look beautiful and we would certainly recommend Richard Shaw Construction to anyone needing construction work.

He never showed up to the appointment we set. I tried calling him several times at different times of day and it always went to voicemail. He never returned the voicemail I left. I was very glad that I never had him do any work because if he is this hard to get ahold of to set up a job, I can't imagine it would be any better if there was something wrong with a job he had already been paid for.
