About us

Mark Carpenter Plumbing, Heating & Air started in February 2000 with 4 employees and the hope to provide a high quality plumbing product at a fair price to the Clovis/Portales residents. Twelve years have passed and our customers have helped us become the largest plumbing service company in Clovis. We have grown with our community to 27 employees and look forward to more growth for our area and our company. Our first goal of providing a high quality plumbing product is largely the result of our team’s experience. We have 10 employees with 10 plus years of plumbing experience with 9 of those 10 being licensed plumbers. That combined experience allows us to provide a high quality plumbing product to our customers at a fair price. We are fully licensed and insured, making us the best choice for fast, professional service.

cleared the sewer drain that was clogged. Charged $500.00 and said they would be back to inspect with the "GOLD PACKAGE" I purchased but they never returned to check or clean any other drains. Called the office and the receptionist said there was no one returning.

Description of Work: Two plumbers came out. They listened to all our issues then looked at each. They gave a price per job rather than by the hour. Both were professional and wore booties over their work boots at my request. Very satisfied with work. Price per job was not my preference because I like an hourly accounting.

Description of Work: Replaced gas service line from meter to home, approximate 200 feet. Work went well, but the weekend added 2 days of no hot water. Overall they did a great job.

Description of Work: Came the same day they were called for a emergency hot water heater fix. They called as they were heading to the house to allow me time to arrive. They assesses the situation and pulled out a set price list based on warranty time frame. It cost me a bit more than anticipated, but they made the repair quickly and the service technicians were friendly. The promised to have someone from their office follow up with me regarding a whole-house upgrade. This did not happen.

The job was accomplished with true professionalism/responsibility. While the plumbers were excavating the yard to get to the valve they accidentally broke some sprinkler system pipes. Immediately they notified me of the issue. They replaced rerouted all the sprinkler plumbing and finished the main valve replacement. I've used these guys multiple times on my property, they always call with any issues and offer multiple suggestions to tackle the job cost effectively. These are my go-to guys for plumbing issues in Clovis. Rock on and thanks guys. BUDA
Description of Work: Two jobs. Replaced the main shut-off water valve to the house and installed new ground access buckets for the valve instead of the PVC pipe that was previously installed. Also, had roots growing out of a toilet on the property (first for me). Removed toilet and roots, ran a camera down pipes to see where roots were coming through but found roots where coming through foundation around piping. Filled foundation/hole with concrete. Problem solved.

Description of Work: We are a public library and called them for various repairs needing to be made before the end of the fiscal year. They came promptly, did the job, and provided the necessary paperwork. They also did the installation on 8 HVAC rooftop units last winter and completed the job in 2 days in spite of brutal weather. One other company bid lower on the AC project, but their past performance did not make them our first choice. We are completely satisfied with Mark Carpenter Plumbing.

Description of Work: Mark Carpenter plumbing is the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with. After multiple calls for them to come to my house and give an estimate, I never got a call back from anyone. On more than one occasion I spoke with who I believe was Mark himself and still not one person called me back or came to my house! I would not recommend this company to anyone.

The plumber came over within a few days time and fixed my clogged plumbing problem. He was friendly and knowledgeable in his job.
Description of Work: We had a clogged pipe line running from our house out to the main sewer line. At times the pipes would fill with water and sewage would flush back into our house through the shower and tub.
