Description of Work: My A/C was not cooling properly. When ITS repairman arrived, I described the problem and he checked out my system. After checking system, he told me that the A/C was apparently leaking freon, I then asked him to find the leak as I would rather repair it than have this problem again. He said he could not find the leak and proceeded to re-fill the freon and left. I called them back 3 more times for the same problem, once in approximately 2 months and then twice again the following summer. After I had to replace my entire system because the unit in my attic had been leaking from the overflow valve into the pan under the unit and rusted it out completely. The overflow valve was not even connected to the line to drain the overflow to the outside and the unit had been freezing up and in turn cracked the main housing of the unit. The overflow valve is on the exterior of the unit and clearly visible.) When I called a reputable contractor, I found out that contractors are not allowed to fill freon in the same system more than once!! They are supposed to either find the leak and repair it or refuse to re-fill the freon, ITS did neither. Then they tried to bill be twice for the same date/service call.

Description of Work: I contracted this company to replace / install a new A/C Heat unit at my home. When they arrived to remove the old unit I watched as the tech disconnected the 220 volt lines and just allowed them to hang loose sparking against each other, I had to go shut the power off. This is how the job started, and it went down hill from there, the workmanship inside the house was the quality of a 6 year old, for example: they built a plenum in a closet for the air return, the wood they cut was too small so they filled the gaps with duct sealant and got it on everythiing, walls, floor, its a mess. after they were done and the unit was running, the ducts they installed collapsed 3 times in the first month. Instead of fixing the cause, they duct taped a bandage to it and left it that way. I hired another contractor to come over and tell me what was wrong with the installation. I took this info back to ITS only to be told they had used up alll the estimate money and wouldn't do anything else. I ended up hiring another contractor to come out and do the job correctly. My oppinion is these guys don't have a clue, they are not professionals and treat the customer as if they are doing you a favor. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND OR USE AGAIN!

Description of Work: I called for a bid. A technician came over, just looked at my system, made no measurements or equipment assessments such as the adequacy of the electrical supply or capacity of the system. I told the technician that I wanted a bid on a Trane system, I received a bid in the mail for a Bryant system. Not what I asked for!

Description of Work: BEST PRICE IN TOWN!!!! Called all companies in town and prices were outragious. Didn't think I could afford to keep my family comfortable. One call to ITS and all my problems went away!!!! Friendly service, excellent craftsmanship, and family is happy..... A++++ in my book... Thanks Jeff!!!!!!!!!!!

Description of Work: i recently made the mistake of using this company to install a new heating system in my home. I just recently had my hardwood floors refinished by Davis Custom Flooring and they looked spectacular. ITS came in after the floors were done and immediately started destroying my beautiful floors. Even after I asked them to please be careful and cover up the new floors and they promised me they would, they never did. As you can imagine my new floors were destroyed. As if that werent enough my heating system nearly caught my house on fire! I had to call the fire department to come tell me why there was smoke pouring out of my attic. They said it was because of my heating system. ITS refused to pay for the damages to my floors and my attic and when I threatened a lawsuit, they came and took the whole system down and took ieverything with them. Never heard from them again. Now I have to spend a lot of money and hire a lawyer in hopes of getting my house back the way it was . I would not reccomend that anyone uses these clowns ever!
