The workmanship overall was poor. They were very rude and difficult to work with.
Description of Work: The general contractor hired Suniga as the subcontractor to put the roof on my home while they were building my home.

I would like to comment on this review because I should have a right to allow prospective customers a chance to see that Suniga's Roofing goes out of our way to make sure the homeowner is pleased with work completed on their most costly investment. 1) We were hired by general contractor to complete a new roof system. Upon getting a call from General contractor about a leak shortly after roof system was installed, (but other contractors were still completing their work), Mr. Suniga went out to see why. Upon climbing onto roof, it was noted that there was a missing exhaust fan cap. Asked by Gen. contractor to 'just buy it and install it' , Mr. Suniga did so. There was NEVER a roof leak, it was a missing cap! 2) Never was any money transferred from [Member name removed] to my company! The General contractor bid out the work and we performed it and it was paid for by him. Roof passed ALL inspections from a NM inspector. 3) Mr. Suniga has been in the roofing industry for 30+ years, and is very diplomatic when speaking to homeowners, builders, etc., and I can give PLENTY of references to back this claim up! 4) Workmanship for Suniga's Roofing has always gone above and beyond the scope limits. 5) Professionalism is practiced constantly, even with rude and offensive customers. " You can't please everyone all the time' but we sure strive to! 6) Responsiveness is always commented positively by other homeowners'. We are known to call when we are running even 5-10 minutes late for an appointment. NEVER have we said we'd be somewhere, and not show up or call! We have seen too many other trades do this, and it is extremely rude! I personally feel like there were other issues at hand when [Member name removed] had her custom home built, leading to her dissatisfaction with everything from the ground up. I understand stress is a major issue when having a home built of this magnitude, and I forgive her for her assumptions on what a 'Roofing System' entails. It is NOT the trusses, decking, etc., but the actual base felts, plysheet system, emulsion primers, Roof tile, sealing, coatings, etc.. I will gladly give a list of satisfied previous customers (upon their permission) when hired to complete any roofing project!
