clean, crisp, to the point. I wanted tyvak, he did not believe it was worth it, we signed the change order and it was done as spec'd. He did cost plus, gave us an estimate, I do NOT use the lowest bid, final cost came in right at the estimate. Much of the work was done while we were out of state. No issues. Would use again. He previously built our garage/shop/office builing - again on cost plus, and came in at the estimate. I know five families he has done extensive work for, and he is still on the good side of them all. One family he convince NOT to do what they planned (rebuild a falling down horse shack). He rarely 'bids' a job as you can always take his bid and find someone else to cut him by a couple hundred dollars. I currently have him helping on the bid and specs to get a PV gird-tie install at our home. He would do the concrete work for a ground install 2.4 to 3.3 KW PV install. He is also a personal friend. Over the years I watched/visited a few of his job sites, three site-built houses, 12 remodels, some fairly deep commercial work. Always busy, does not advertise.

Everyone knows that a major kitchen reno can be a nightmare experience, but we somehow ~ thankfully~ lucked into Complete Construction for ours and they were fantastic! They finished on time and ON BUDGET (they really did). They were on time every day and always showed up when they said they would . . . a miracle in itself in this town! They cleaned up at the end of every day. They were pleasant, quiet, professional and they did great work. They were also reasonably priced. And, they're honest and trustworthy. I had absolutely no hesitations about leaving my house key with them or leaving them home here alone to do their work. Our $74,000.00 renovation included all labor and material costs for all new top-of-the-line appliances (that we purchased ourselves for this project), all new custom cabinets, adding some new lighting, removing a window, moving water and gas lines , which was a bit more costly than the average kitchen, as ours has all adobe walls, a wood ceiling with beams and corbels, and a brick floor with in-floor radiant heating coils embedded in it. At the completion of the kitchen reno, they paint ed the newly finished kitchen and adjacent family room. . This was a major project from start to finish and Complete Construction did an excellent job. After our experience with them, we will never use another company.
Description of Work: Complete Construction Unlimited did the construction involved in our complete kitchen renovation. They tore out our old cabinets. Removed an adobe pony wall and one window, Arranged for the now windowless wall to be repaired and re-stuccoed. Installed all the new cabinets. Installed additional ceiling lights, a new light fixture and new in-cabinet and above-cabinet lighting. Installed our new sink and R/O, and the plumbing for it. Rerouted water and gas lines, as we changed the entire footprint of our kitchen with this reno. They even came up with a really great solution to a major cabinet layout problem I had which made the new layout much better. They built a custom Old World-style plaster hood for the stove from an idea that I'd designed myself and arranged for an expert custom plasterer to apply the finish on it. It turned out gorgeous! They arranged for a great tile guy (an artist with tile) to do the tile work for the kitchen and we get raves on it still.
