Within 2 months had to replace all carpet, within 2 years had to replace all windows, 10,000.00 total because his company does such a bad job. The work was not done well to begin with. Had to schedule multiple appointments to get things fixed, and refixed. None of the work was done on time and none of it was satisfactory. The worse contractor I've ever had the misfortune to deal with. His workers are unqualified and he doesn't care about quality.

The home was a spec home so the price was a more reasonable than his other homes, but still pretty high for this end of the road town. My windows and doors leak dirt, yes, piles of dirt accumulate on my window sills and my floors weekly. The door jams are wider at the bottom than the top. The contractor will not lift one finger to resolve this, but notified me that he contacted the window company and they stated that the "windows were installed correctly", end of story, he hasn't responded to my calls about the windows in 6 weeks now. I had to call the better business bureau on him twice to get my heat pump working, in the dead of winter without heat for weeks. His foreman, Raul, is really attentive and professional, but the owner himself cuts corners on quality, is super slack on fixing anything after the sale, and hires the least dependable people. There were no filters installed on my vents when I moved in so dirt was blowing into my home daily, (it's really windy here). So much fine dirt accumulated in my carpet I was having asthma attacks and had to replace my new carpets with pergo, to the tune of about 5,000. Also the vents weren't installed correctly. some of them are screwed into the sheetrock on only one side and the other side is in the vent hole. Needless to say the windows, doors and flooring have been a constant problem since I moved in. I'm very disappointed in this builder. A brand new home shouldn't have this many fundamental problems within the first one to six months.
