Outcome pending.
Description of Work: My roof is under warranty and was never properly installed. As a result, it is now leaking and Lone Mountain Roofing refuses to honor their warranty. I was told I could pay extra (approx. $4500.00) to fix the problem. One of their repairman, whom has not been seen since agreeing with the fact that the roof was faulty, did state that the slope was improper and there was a need for an additional canal to drain the water. I am taking this company to court. My neighbor also had problems with this company honoring the warranty and his ceiling caved in. He won his court suit.

Response from Lone Mountain Roofing- J3 Systems LLC
This roof was installed by Lone Mountain approximately 7 years ago (in 2007). It performed properly for six years before the first ever service call request was made in June 2013, which we completed and did not bill for under the terms of the warranty. Apparently, after our visit in June 2013, there was HVAC work done through the roof and damage caused by other trades that we were never notified about nor was it ever sealed properly. We found the damage during a service call visit in December 2013. This type of damage repair is not covered under the warranty (which is standard for any roof warranty). Ms. Valles was notified that there are billable repairs that need to be done in order to maintain the warranty. Becuase those repairs were never accepted and scheduled, the warranty is not currently in effect. At the homeowner’s request, Lone Mountain subsequently met with the homeowner’s contractor representative on the roof on January 29, 2014 at which time it was reconfirmed that the roof wasn’t under warranty until the necessary billable repairs are completed. Those repairs, to be billed for time and material, will cost approximately $1,400-$1,800. Once completed, the warranty will be re-instated. We look forward to resolving this matter soon.
