Description of Work: Tim and crew put 4 inches of crusher fines on my gravel/dirt driveway during the wettest, muddiest summer for a long time. He just covered up the mud and ruts, and smoothed the whole area. Such an improvement! His crew always does that little bit extra, like weed whacking all around so the edges looked neat. Poor Tim got stung on his face by a nasty wasp while he was doing this extra work! What a trooper!

+ -1 moreDuring a wind storm a section of our side block wall was blown down. Mr. Miller came out the next day and provided a quote and removed the damaged block, installed rebar and rebuilt the damaged section with new block and mortar. Great job and it's still standing. I wish the price was a little lower, however I didn't haggle over his quoted price.
Description of Work: The contractor removed about 50 broken pieces of block wall that had blown down and installed rebar and ~ 50 blocks of new block wall.

+ -1 moreTim Miller is a very professional guy, and a master with a backhoe! He and his you g son and son-in-law did the job together and worked well as a team. I admit, I didn't even get anyone else to do an estimate, as I had heard what a good job they do from a neighbor. Tim is part of the Mennonite community near Belen, and, to make a broad, stereotyped remark, "They are such hard workers, and they don't rip you off!". My only hesitation about this job is how much it costs. But, I feel that Tim did not overcharge me,and worked with me to reduce the cost by substituting crusher fines foe part of the proposed concrete pad for parking the car at the foot of the ramp. I trust he will do a beautiful job on the retaini g wall, as he seems to have a pretty design in mind, as sketched out in the dirt! I feel that the cost is justified, given the big equipment involved, and how really skilled Tim and his team are. I heartily recommend Tim Miller Concrete!
Description of Work: I hired Tim Miller to replace our front yard's retainint wall, and crumbling concrete steps leading to the front sidewalk. tim divided the job into three stages: demo of old, crumbly steps and retaining wall, pouring of new ramp, and building new retaining wall. So far, he has completed stages one and two. The demo was completed in two days, because he also took out six huge, dead Spanish Broom bushes. Day two was the removal of The rotting RR ties and broken concrete steps. He used his big back hoe to do the job, and left the dirt ready for the next stage, the pouring of the ramp. He built the ramp's forms on site and poured the concrete on one other day. He and his son-in-law finished the concrete beautifully. He will come back to do the retaining wall out of landscape block.

+ -1 moreThey did a beautiful job. Their concrete artistry added visual space to the curb appeal of the house. I would use them again if needed.
Description of Work: Removed old driveway & sidewalk, corrected water drainage problem, graded and poured new driveway, sidewalk, added new sidewalk and made the front slab to the house ADA wheelchair compliant.
