+ -1 moreI had water running out from under my bathtub. I checked Angie' List first for any recommended plumbers and there were no recommendations with in 50 miles so I began calling Plumbers in my area. I spoke to a receptionist for the first three plumbers I called and was told by all of them that they would check and call me back. My fourth call was to Charlie's Septic Pumping and I spoke to Charlie. He asked me what was problem was, where I lived and directions to my home. Charlie stated that he would be to my home with in a hour. Since I live twenty minutes from town I thought coming so soon was great. Charlie arrived before the hour was up. He identified the problem and fixed my leak in two hours. This two hour time frame included him having to go back to town for more copper pipe. Charlie assured that the leak was fixed before he left. He replaced my tub surround that he had to pull off in order to get to the leak instead of having to come up from the bottom of the floor. His cost was very resonable.
Description of Work: First Charlie's Septic Pumping checked the water heater where I thought a leak had occurred. It was not in this area and Charlie had to pull out the side covering from my bathtub were he found pin sized leak in the copper pipe. Apparently this winter the pipe had frozen and swelled up and now sprang a leak from the water pressure. Charlie had to cut the area out where the hole was. Then due to the enlarged size of the pipe none of the fitting would fit the area. He then had to go back to town to get needed parts. When Charlie returned he fixed the pipe, turned my water back on to assure everything was working correctly. He then put the siding back around my tub and reattached the wood molding. The area looked like it had prior to pulling it off.
