KGI Welding & Forging

We wanted something decorative not industrial. Kevin and his wife came up with an organic design that fits our landscaping and the surrounding terrain. It goes beyond the safety needs that we initially had since it also turned out to be a beautiful work of art. He consulted with us all along the way with photos, he is courteous, a skilled professional, prompt and considerate of our time. We are extremely pleased with the outcome. We've already talked to him about our next project and can't wait.

He was punctual, efficient and very nice. He reinforced the other hinge as well. The welding looks way better than the original. As a totally unexpected touch he painted the exposed metal with black paint to match the gate’s color. It would have cost me $64 to rent a stick welder for 4 hours from Home Depot, and those things weigh 200 lbs. The cheaper and lighter MIG welders are not ideal for this type of work. The work area was pristine after he was done. You can tell when someone cares about the quality of their work. I am sure he shows the same care when he works on large custom projects.

It went well. Two contractors... sprinklers ended up behind in front of the sprinklers, but that was an easy fix, thankfully.

Very responsive, fast and friendly, and the work looks solid as far as I can tell. Happy to recommend Kevin.

Kevin showed up on a Saturday, took one look and said those musical words "that's not a problem". He worked with me to figure out how to get it repaired correctly and never gave me any grief about my amateur workmanship. It was worth every penny to have a professional bail me out and salvage my project. I would definitely hire him again.
