+ -1 moreThey were wonderful, knowledgeable and generous with their time. I have taken their advice and added the products they recommended to the pond and it has solved the algae problem. They could have easily told me I needed an expensive biological filter but were very honest and not out to create an expensive bill for me. I had to practically twist their arms to get them to take some money for gas for their long drive to my home in the east mountains. People like these two are a rare find and I will definitely recommend them and/or use their services in the future.
Description of Work: Doug and Mae came out to check on my pond in the East Mountains. I was prepared to spend money to install a biological filter to get rid of algae in the pond but they advised me to try a couple of products that kill algae before going a more expensive route. They spent a lot of time with me answering questions and giving me pond advice.

+ -1 moreThis couple only work on ponds and waterfalls. They know their business and are the only certified pond people in NM. I liked their work so well I signed up for monthly maintenance. They are very nice people to work with. Would highly recommend then.

Description of Work: I called the first number and it was recording telling me to call another number (doug). I called that number and was told by "doug" that they coudn't come out until a week or so, they were busy with another project, and quickly referred me to another number. Seemed to blow me off and was a little rude. Guess you don't want my business.

When the pump on the smaller pond acted up later on, due to a mistake we had made, they came immediately to locate the problem and spent 3 hours digging on one of the hottest days of the year to find the problem. I would hire them again in a minute. They also do other landscaping.
Description of Work: waterfalls and more tore out an existing and broken fountain and designed and installed a beautiful pond. They also cleaned our larger pond---about 15x25 feet with a waterfall. Their sense of design is spot on.

+ -1 moreDoug and Mae are super people, hard workers, and honest in their business practices. Their primary business is designing and constructing ponds and water features. Visit their web site for a view of their work. Their son-in-law is a computer expert and put together a fun site with sound effects. They provided us with an education on water feature maintenance and upkeep. We are exceptionally happy with the results and highly recommend them.
Description of Work: Purchased a home with a water feature in a poor state of repair. It had not been properly operated, and maintained, as such it smelled horrible when operated. Owners Doug & Mae, showed on time for the estimate, were very friendly and gave a detailed explanation of the problems and the work they would perform. They do the work themselves. They arrived on time on the appointment and dismantled the water feature to allow proper cleaning and restoration. Each river rock was also washed before being replaced. The task was a bit more then expected, but they stuck to their quote. AS the feature did not have lighting, Doug and Mae installed both external lighting imbedded in the rock shinning on the feature in addition to an internal light within the feature. We are very very pleased.
