+ -1 moreI never heard back from Samantha after placing the order in July of 2016. She disappeared with my fabric. I left multiple messages on her phone, which she never returned.
Description of Work: Samantha made high-quality window panels for me, for which I paid fully. After that, I ordered a panel for my foyer window. Samantha took my fabric; the money was due upon the completion of the panels.

+ -1 moreSamantha O Brien, proprietor of Walls, Windows & More, prepared a quote requested by me on Feb 29, 2016 for several window shades. The total amount for the job was $1670.00 with a 50% deposit due on acceptance of the quote. We both signed our agreement to the job (I have an original copy) and I presented a check to her in the deposit amount of $835.00, which was cashed by Samantha on the same day (Feb 29). She called the following week with several questions, and that is the last time I have heard from her. I have left many messages on her work telephone number (505 259 6342) during March and April. The calls were never returned . I have used this company in the past and was pleased with the work, and I am honestly worried about Samantha. This is not like her.

Description of Work: Although I did not use Samantha's services I was extremely impressed by her professionalism and creative ideas. She brought plenty of samples with her and spend as much time as needed going over ideas. I would not hesitate to recommend her or consider her services in the future. My decision not to move forward with the project is no reflection on her.

Description of Work: We replaced vertical blinds in our living area with wood blinds. I hadn't even thought about wood blinds, but Samantha suggested it. They were installed yesterday and we love them! They give such a different look to the room. We were also able to put blinds on a window that is very high in the room; something we had never done beofre. During some times of the year, the late afternoon/early evening sun through that window would interfere with use of a few seats at our dining room table. We also replaced 3 shades in the master bedroom. Again, Samantha helped choose a color that matched our new wall color. We are very pleased and will call Samantha again with our next window treatment need.

Description of Work: Installed roller shades on one window and a French door. The style and color match are perfect. Showed up on time, installation took an hour or so. Everything was just right. I could have had it done for less through one of the big stores, but I preferred the personal contact with someone who was referred to me, and with someone who showed up when she said she would (a rarity in Albuquerque, assuming they even show up!).
