The sales person came out and was very friendly and professional while discussing the different options, although he lightly tried to steer us toward one of the more expensive options (refrigerated air). I contacted him to let him know we were going with a Breezair swamp cooler, the least expensive of the options we discussed. The salesman's attitude changed dramatically once he learned we were not going the expensive route, but he said we were scheduled for the following Monday at 9 a.m. I planned to stay home from work to meet the workers and show them around while my wife took our son to school. At about 9:20, a Wagner van pulled up in front of our house and idled for about 5 minutes, then screeched off and never returned. My wife called Wagner and was told that we were actually scheduled for noon that day and insisted that the appointment was for noon, which was just not true. We went round and round with these people, getting bounced from one person to another on the phone, and they finally came out Thursday to do the installation. The two guys who did the installation -- Mike and Antonio -- were very professional and appear to have done a good job. Overall I give this business a C. Too many excuses and finger pointing by the people who aren't doing the actual work.

I will NEVER call them again. They tried to sell me a new part for my heater that I did not need. A $450+ part. Thank goodness I knew in my gut that the "tech" was lying and called someone else. DANIEL'S PLUMBING and HEATING. The only reason I did not give Wagner's an F for a score is because the Operations Manager was honest and professional enough to return the money I paid for the trip charge.

They're good. One of the things I do like, they e-mail me a picture of the person who is going to come. Then when someone shows up at the door, I know that it's them and not somebody who's pretending to be them.

I understood the problem and asked for a written quote instead of a verbal one. Didn't get one. I also had questions on the billing which the billing gal could not answer and said she would call back. I called on a Monday, Nov 28, no callback. I called again on Wed, the 30 Nov, no callback. I called on Mon. Dec 5, no callback. I called on Dec 7- was told the manager, Gary, was in a meeting and would call back. I called again that same day. Gary was in a luncheon meeting - no call back. So, since Wagner is not interested in having good customer service, neither am I.

Wagner Techs installed flexible ducts in the limited space of the ceiling crawl space, remodeled the return air system, installed two new high-efficiency updraft furnaces, and relocated the two refrigeration coils. Also, new thermostats were installed. They were able to work around my family of three (one is 93yrs. old), while we continued to occupy our home during the one week of installation, December 14-23. Cutting holes in walls and ceilings they never made a mess that wasn't thoroughly cleaned up. The job, done on schedule just before Christmas, insured that we would have a warm mid-winter. There were later returns by Wagner to "fine-tune" the installation and make sure that we were satisfied. One thermostat later developed a problem, and Wagner was there, even on the weekend, to fix it. I have waited almost a year to write this review because I wanted to experience their follow-up service. Wagner prides itself on the first year follow-up of such an installation. During that time, I am happy to report, I have been very satisfied with their service. This was a big and complicated job in a home built nearly half a century ago. The Wagner installers overcame all the challenges, and they did a fine job. I would recommend the company.

Todd was on time, answered all our questions, and serviced the furnace quickly. He advised us beforehand of the work we needed done and how much it would cost. He was courteous and professional.

Great. The technician was early got the job done quickly and gave me tips for a different kind of filter.

I find them to be very expensive. They have all these bills and they come out to try to sell to you when they want. They did the job.

Wagner has done a number of jobs for us over the past years and we have come to expect craftsman level work that meets or exceeds the contract with Wagner. In September 2016 they replaced the second of our two coolers with an Aerocool unit. They had replaced our other cooler and our furnace last fall.) We were delighted with the interaction with Wagner and work of the whole installation crew (especially Ramon, Noel, and Dylan).

The only reason I would not give them an A is I wish they were not that expensive. I am quite happy with them. They are very pro-active to make sure we get all the services we might need.

A/C unit went out during heat wave. Wagner Mechanical was able to replace it within 2 days of coming out and giving me an estimate. Technicians were very courteous and competent. They came within 10 minutes of promised time. Installation was very neat and professional. Technicians took as much time as needed to program and explain new electronic thermostat. Electrician explained changes to electrical code since original unit was installed and made the necessary changes. Company has 18 month same a cash financing.

I've used them for a long time and I like them. They are always right there, prompt, responsive, and know what they are doing. I pay a monthly fee for them to give me service and they do a good job. I like them.

The worst month of our lives, dealing with these people!!!! It's a shame because the technicians who did the work were professional, on time, conscientious and hard working! The supervisors/managers/office staff made this the most regretted HIGH DOLLAR PURCHASE (i.e., over 12k) we have ever made! These people could not even get a ladder to my home on the day of the inspections! I have NEVER had to work so hard in my life to have a job done that was supposed to be taken care of the "best business in NM." WHAT A JOKE!!! I would never recommend this company to anyone.....................This company pulled our technician off of my job at approx. 430 to 5:00 pm to tend to "emergency/higher priority" calls then mine. I had to fight to get the technicians back to my home to complete the job that was started at 8:30 a.m. I was finally able to get the original technician back on my job and this young man stayed until 1:30 in the MORNING to get the job done. THIS SHOULD HAVE NEVER HAPPENED!!!!! I asked at least 4 times for paperwork and booklets for my newly purchased unit...................NOTHING without a screaming match! ABSOLUTELY DISPICABLE for a "premier NM company!!!"

It went very well. They did exactly what the job description entailed and they were not pushy looking for other services or upgrades. I would recommend them.

He diagnosed that the control unit had failed and that it would require contacting the manufacturer for a replacement part as obtaining one locally might take sometime. After further discussion and reviewing our options, with a water heater that had multiple issues(over 10 years old, out of warranty, bad controller, unable to flush unit, huge hard water deposits, unable to maintain consistent water temperature) a new water heater was seen as the required solution. I received a quote for a much better quality unit within 12 hours of the initial visit and setup an installation appointment which the technician and his partner promptly showed up for. The work involved was more extensive than normal as the old unit could not be drained and multiple issues had to be resolved in order to bring us up to city codes. The work took about 3 hours and an appointment with a city inspector was setup. The inspector passed the new water heater and it has been functioning flawlessly. The unit maintains a much better range of water temperature than the previous unit and I have already done a test drain which was impossible with the old unit. Zack the technician was very professional and kept us informed when any issues came up. The only negative was that my card was charged an extra $950 in error. This was credited back by their office staff within a couple of days after notifing them of the issue and it was realized that 3 and not 2 charges had been intiated.

The October water bill was as high as the September bill. We replaced one of the toilets with a low flow model from Lowes' and tried to cutoff the other toilet while we left town for 3 weeks. The Nov.-Dec. bill was almost as high as Sept. & Oct. after we returned so we called another plumber. The second plumber found that the fill valve the Wagner plumber had installed was defective and ran almost all the time. He replaced it and the cutoff valve which was also defective and the problem was solved. He found nothing else wrong with the toilet. The Wagner plumber had not indicated a problem with the cutoff valve. I have the defective fill valve that Wagner's installed. !/4/2016 The Wagner Mechanical Manager called and apologized for the problem and offered to reimburse us for the cost of the service call. I appreciate their response and have modified my rating.

Mark said it was a faulty hot surface igniter. He got a replacement from another tech and installed. I gave one B rating because Mark did not have the part on his truck when i am guessing it is something they normally would/should have. Overall though, it was great service. We have used Wagner for many years and have always been satisfied.

He was so accommodating and very pleasant. He worked quickly and efficiently. He was helpful in how he took care of the copper tubing and closing up the ac. I really liked him. He is an excellent asset to the company.

The Wagner installation team arrived at the scheduled day/time and installed both systems in one day. The teams' knowledge, workmanship and professionalism were outstanding. Ramon and Noel adjusted to the installation to meet our requests. They left the house and grounds in very clean condition. We are especially happy with Wagners' choice of the Daiken furnace to replace our 35 year old unit - very high efficiency with lots of useful new features.

Asked him for specific written instructions for the automatic controller for our unit. No model number available so he took a picture of it and is checking on the model to provide us a soft copy of the instructions.

TJ was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He was pleasant to talk to and we discussed prior plumbing Wagner had performed for us and possible future projects. His expertise was readily recognizable. We hope that if any future work needs to be performed, TJ will be our service tech.

The technician, Chad, was extremely knowledgeable and professional. When he completed the biannual servicing, he took a few minutes to discuss the system we have and what to expect in the future. He was extremely personable and quick to respond to our questions.
