+ -1 moreHe returned my call within 5 minutes, scheduled appointment for next day. His estimate was a little over half of other estimates. He came before the scheduled time, and charged the estimated amount. I will definitely call Harry the next time I need an appliance repair, if its something I can't do myself. Does not take credit cards at this time, only cash or check. Really nice guy.

He was able to diagnose problem over the phone (much to my skepticism), order the part and then fix it in a matter of only several minutes of labor. + -1 moreThis was the second time i had Harry work on this dishwasher. Both times I thought he was very knowledgeable and professional. Each time I felt he was most interested in repairing the dishwasher as quickly and inexpensively as possible. This time he identified the parts that had failed, but the replacement cost was well over half the cost of a new dishwasher, So I opted for that. I certainly recommend Harry for appliance repair. I don't think you can find anyone much better, but you could easily do a whole lot worse.
Description of Work: Took apart dishwasher to find computer board not working. He replaced computer board but that didn't fix the problem, as there was also a touch pad malfunction. The cost for parts was so high I decided to get a new dishwasher and just had him put the dishwasher back together.

+ -1 moreHarry was extremely professional. He called me back and scheduled a time and date to come and take a look at my dryer. The day came and he was on time. He came in and made a few observations and knew exactly what was wrong with my dryer. It would get hot only for a few minutes and then it would cool down and continue to tumble but the clothes were not getting dry. Harry said the coils had to be replaced. He put them in and turned the dryer on with a load of whites I had just washed and it stayed hot though out the drying cycle. Harry was here no more than 30 minutes. I was very pleased!
Description of Work: My gas dryer was not getting hot. Harry repaired it.

When I did, he told me that it wasn't repairable and to buy a new one. He could easily have told me he needed to see it and charge me for a service call. I was impressed with his honesty.

+ -1 moreI called on Tuesday at 6:00pm because my refrigerator had completely died. They scheduled me for the next day with a window of 11-1pm. She said the tech usually runs early, and explained the prices for the service call to me. The next day the tech showed up between 10:30 and 11:00 I was very impressed with him being on time. He introduced himself as Ray. He was very nice and professional. He explained to me what was wrong with refrigerator and told me he had the part in his van. My frig was up and running within 15 minutes. I was so relieved. He also advised me to not buy groceries until the next day to give the frig time to cool off. I was glad he told me that because I had planned to go shopping as soon as he left. I would definitely use ABC applaince again.

The pleasant experience started when Harry actually answered the phone (I get so tired of having to leave a message and then wondering if I'll ever get a call back!). After giving me a couple of things to try, Harry was able to figure out what the problem was and what needed to be repaired. He knew the part that was needed, was able to get the part and was out to my house the same afternoon. The repair was made quickly, efficiently, and very reasonably priced. Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely call Trinity if I need similar services in the future.
Description of Work: My Frigidaire wall oven was flashing an error message. The circuit board on the control panel needed to be replaced.

+ -1 moreHarry arrived a few minutes before the appointed time. He quickly took the ice-maker apart, diagnosed the problem, and went and purchased the required part. He replaced it effeciently, checked to make certain that it was working properly, then cleaned up after himself. His price I felt was quite reasonable. He is very knowledgeable and efficient, and I will be calling him again to come out and install my new dishwasher when it is delivered, simply because I really like doing business with him and I know I will have no worries about it being done properly.
Description of Work: Internal ice-maker stopped working in my Whirlpool French-door bottom-freezer refrigerator. I selected Trinity because of the reviews on Angie's List. Harry London, the owner, called me back and made arrangements to come out to my house at a mutually convenient time. He was in Santa Fe when he called. I had previously called for a problem with my dishwasher, which was not cleaning the dishes. He diagnosed the problem over the phone, and advised me that it would cost more to replace the pump than was worthwhile.

Description of Work: Gas dryer was not working. Called Trinity Appliance and left a message. Quickly I received a call back and was able to schedule for that same day. Description of Work: My washing machine was not spinning - just hummed and left the tube full of water and soppy clothes. Within an hour Trinity diagnosed the problem, gave me an estimate and fixed the problem.

+ -1 moreOi. Week after Thanksgiving my refrigerator went on the fritz. It is a bottom unit with top french drawers, internal water/ice dispenser. Three days without cooling I knew something was wrong. Looked on the internet and did what I could. Cleaned the coils underneath. Didn't fix the problem. I knew that the most likely causes were: failed temperature sensor or fan. Repairs were well above my ability. Called the top 5 repair people recommended by Angie's List. Wanted the work done today (Friday), as not to have no refrigerator over the weekend. Trinity responded with the best repair times. Was glad as they are the top rated site here for large appliance repair. Repair man came and it took 2 hours to diagnose and replace the part. The circuit board and temperature sensor failed. Both were in a very hard to reach place. Work was done on time. I have no appreciation as where the price falls in the range of refrigerator repairs. Almost four hundred bucks hurt, but was one third the price of a new ice box.
Description of Work: Repaired my 3 year old Amana refrigerator, which stopped cooling.

+ -1 moreVery well. I don't know the depth and breadth of Harry's abilities, but I do think you can count on him to be reliable and try to fix your appliance problem at a fair price.
Description of Work: My dishwasher was going thru its cycles but not washing the dishes. Harry suggested things I might try over the phone, but ended up coming out and fixing the dishwasher. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He disassembled, cleaned and adjusted, and reassembled the inside of the dishwasher. The whole repair took about an hour and the dishwasher now works fine.

Discovered igniter weak but not a fault. Had to go to parts store for sensor, returned with part and after installation all worked fine. Very communicative and easy to work with. Bottom line - great service.

+ -1 moreWe have used them in the past and they are quite good. The owner of this company is Harry London. His price is right. He shows up on time and he is good. He has very high rating. They are the only people we would call for appliance repair. Their cost is very competitive and their workmanship is what I look for. His workmanship is very good. It is like finding a good mechanic. It is hard to find one and once you find you hold on to it. He always goes above and beyond. He is already at that level. He does not take forever to fix something. He fixes it and it stays fixed. He uses good quality parts. He is very professional in a profession in which you don’t expect to find people to be professional. I have no hesitation in recommending him which we do all the time. I will continue to use him in the future.

Description of Work: Our 2001 JennAir sidebyside refrigerator/freezer lost significant cooling over the period of several days. We called Harry London (owner/repairman) of Trinity Repair on Wednesday afternoon at approx. 1PM. He was here by 3:30PM the same day, as promised. He took my information over the phone on my orig. call (make, Model#), description of problem, etc. He asked me if there was frost on the inside of the freezer, which I couldn't see. He walked in, very friendly, went immediately to the problem-the heater was faulty and the back of the freezer was frozen solid. He had the correct parts with him because he had asked the right questions on the initial call. He quickly installed them, the refrigerator starting working immediately, and he left the faulty parts behind. My husband and I were so impressed with his knowledge that we asked him about brands of dishwashers he would recommend, as we are looking to replace our 21yr.old one. He was quick with his recommendation and why. We feel he is so reliable that we went out several days later and purchased the one he suggested!! Kudos to Harry!!

I will call them back and the appliance repair guy is probably the first guy that I would call. I think there is just one guy who runs the business. He charged for the service call and that was $70. He took some part from the appliance apart and looked at it. Then he made some suggestions on it as opposed to making a repair. I think he tweaked a couple of things, but he said that all the functions seemed to be operating normally. When it comes to his punctuality and professionalism, he was right on the money.
Description of Work: Trinity Appliance Repair Inc. fixed a dish washer for me about six to eight weeks ago.
