Nelson was very prompt getting back with me and arriving at my house.unclogged the drain line with a snake in very short amount of time.I had been plunging on it for 5 days! Very happy with service I received from this company!

Excellent. The leak was fixed, but a new problem developed downstream of the leak later that week. They came back out and repaired the new issue free of charge. Both times they were punctual and professional, very knowledgeable. They have previously repaired a sump pump in our house as well and did a great job.

Was quoted one price for two vanities but when he completed one he said that was the price for one. We would never have agreed to pay that much for two vanities. We will never use him again plus the shower he fixed broke two days later.

He came at 1 and took forever to figure out how he was going to charge. He started the actual work at 2 and realized that he couldn't fix it. Finally he decided that he was going to put in a new faucet that he already had in his truck. He charged me $629 for a faucet and a half hour of work. He refused to give me the Angie's List coupon. It seems like he charged me for all the time he took when deciding that the faucet couldn't be fixed, which he told me he would not charge me for it.

I called Nelson (on a Thursday, I believe) and told him about the problem. I mentioned that it wasn't a major leak, but that I was somewhat concerned. He was told me he was booked for the remainder of the week but could come out Monday mid-morning. I thought that would be fine as it probably had been leaking like this for a few weeks. Nelson came out on the day and approx. time that he originally setup with me. It didn't take him long at all to find the problem. Apparently a small pin-***** sized hole had opened in the faucet piping. He was able to replace that portion of the faucet and it was fixed. It probably didn't take more than 20-30 minutes from start to finish. We have not had a problem since. Although the original installation had be done well over a year ago, Nelson said that he would not charge me for the work. That means a lot to me. I will not hesitate to call Nelson for other plumbing work in the future.

My plumber retired and I was referred to Nelson Wingerd Town & Country Plumbing Heating Cooling. I called Nelson and was told there would be a $149 service call fee which would be waived if he did the work. Upon arrival he hooked up the water line which was hanging next to the faucet; removed the cooler cover and damper; and turned on the water, pump, fan and determined the cooler was indeed functional. He then went to his truck to write the estimate for the work (clean inside of cooler and replace the aspen pads). He returned with an estimate of $491.00!! I informed him that I had never paid more than $80 for this service! He said that was the charge; especially with replacing the aspen pads (which are $5.00 each at any home improvement store!). I told him I could not afford that and he charged me the $149 service call fee and left to go to his next unwitting customer! At the very least, this is a very deceptive business practice - driving around all day and charging each customer $149 after giving grossly inflated work estimates! What a scam!

The TLC dispatcher promised a plumber would arrive before day's end and would call with ample notice. A few minutes later, the plumber called to ask if "now was a good time" to clear the drains. It was. He was excellent and went well beyond the dlog and followed the drain line all the way to the street connection to make sure no other issues materialized. As of three monthslater, none have!

Town & country was very responsive; service was quick, friendly, and the work was excellent. I recommend them and will use them for future plumbing needs.

I called on Monday morning and he arrived as promised in the afternoon which was great. He replaced the assembly and was finished in about 30 minutes with parts he had in his vehicle so he gets kudos for all of this. My main complaint was the $300 cost for the repair. I saw the part that was replaced online for under $50.

The Good: This guy was super-prompt. He called, returned calls, scheduled an estimates, and wrote the estimate on the spot. He was over at my house working before some other companies had e-mailed me my estimates. Also, this job was said to be something that other companies didn't want to do because there was wood inside my wall. It didn't seem to be a problem for him. The Bad: He chipped my tile surrounding the area and didn't mention it to me. Also, he put on the fixtures before the tile company had done the grout. Apparently, if they hadn't taken them off again, lots of water would have gotten into my walls. Also, he is very expensive compared to other quotes.

He was very meticulous and friendly, explaining steps as he went. The gas control section came apart relatively easy but required a lot of effort to reassemble all the sheet metal. I suspected a bad thermocouple but did not think about cleaning burner tubes. I was surprised to get his service so quickly on New Years Eve! Upon presenting the bill he reminded me about the Angies List dsicount and then subtracted it from the bill. I could not ask for more quality of work with fair pricing. I have other work that will go to this company.

He did the job quickly and offered to do more since he was here. Always VERY professional!
