Description of Work: TLC did a great job. I placed an emergency call on Saturday and they showed up when they said they would. They completed the work quickly and professionally. They also cleaned up after they completed the job. Great Service overall! I will definitely use TLC again for my next plumbing issue.

Description of Work: They located my outdoor clean-out using a video scope (it was under the deck) & then cleaned out the drain. My toilet and tub were stopped up & I couldn't fix it with a plunger. More than half of the cost was for the clean-out location.

Description of Work: Earlier that morning a man from Academy Plumbing came (without tools!) and said that the furnace was a total loss and needed to be replaced. TLC's guys came... with tools and quickly diagnosed a faulty gas regulator. They replaced the part and the furnace has been running reliably ever since!

Description of Work: Heater Boiler was not running. Trouble shot and found issue. Did a temporary fix bypassing damper control and putting in fixed OPEN position so boiler would operate as is was on a Saturday during a big cold front.

Description of Work: Replaced a 75-gallon water heater. When I called, TLC got someone out the same day to perform an estimate. The technician examined my old system and explained exactly what work they would perform and what was needed to bring it up to current code, which was principally the addition of an expansion tank. A few days later I called and they scheduled the installation. The two techs were on time and set right to work. The installation was completed in a little less than 3 hours, and the workmanship was excellent. They gave me recommendations regarding draining/flushing the system and answered all of my questions in a friendly and professional manner. They left everything clean and even hauled away my old platform without me asking. I gave them a "B" on price because the installation cost does seem high, but I note that is in line with normal charges by many companies, and substantially lower than an estimate that I got from Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling.

Description of Work: I hired TLC to do a trenchless sewer line from the house to the middle of the street. I worked with David Jones who was professional and knowledgeable. He wrote up 2 proposals to let me know the options and prices. We settled on a date, they pulled city permits and the guys arrived around 8:30 am on the selected day. There were only two men on the crew, but they obviously knew what they were doing. They ran into a glitch after a couple hours, in that the backhoe they brought wasn't working properly. So work stopped and we had to wait another 4 days while they pulled new city permits (in order to block traffic) and got their backhoe fixed. The company TLC contracted to put up the traffic barricades pulled the barricades into my neighbors' yards and left them there for the 4 days, not appreciated. They returned Friday and completed the job in about 8 hours. They had to dig up part of the xeriscaped yard, but it looked great when they finished, putting everything back the way it was. |TLC is expensive, but for big jobs like this I prefer to go with a company that has all the equipment and lots of experience. AND they gave me an Angie's List 10% discount. I would use them again.

Description of Work: Patrick, Nick and Joe provided excellent service and expertise for a bathroom remodel that included installation of custom toilets, jetted tub, and fixtures. Work also included electrical, tile, and wall board repair. The quality of their work was excellent, they were reliably on-time, and respectful of our presence and property including clean-up and removal of spent materials.

Description of Work: Checked wall furnace for safe operation. Adjusted limit settings on main furnace system; checked safe operation; also cleaned filter. All went well; no repairs needed.

Description of Work: hooked up ice maker/cold water line for new fridge. It went very well and they actually saved us money with some attachments for the fridge and they were two very nice young men.

Description of Work: Tech (Greg T.) was running late and called to confirm that the later appointment still OK. He ran a snake to clear the drain. Unfortunately, we found out after he left that the drain was still slow. Called TLC to report the problem still existed. Tech called back very quickly and arranged to come back out that day to remedy the situation. The problem was solved by using a larger head on the snake, and at no extra charge. | |I am very happy with their communication, promptness, and eagerness to fix the problem and will use TLC in the future.

Description of Work: I have had them in several times to fix plumbing problems in my rental condo. The prices have varied with the job. They have managed to straighten out total messes either left behind by the condo's former managers' handymen, or built into the design way back in the day.

Description of Work: My swamp cooler gave out in July on a Saturday. TLC provides emergency service calls. I described the problem over the phone. They said it sounded like the motor gave out. I was given an approximate cost to replace it. The man that came out confirmed the problem. He was very nice and knowledgeable. He replaced the motor very quickly and my swamp cooler was up and working in no time!

Description of Work: Traced and found a water leak from my AC and replaced a part. The gentleman who did the work was delightful, professional, and personable. I was pleased as punch with the service I received!
