The work seemed to go very well, and the shower now works much better, with no dripping from the shower head when it's shut off. There was quite of bit of time spent and the work was difficult with a lot of lime encrustation, but the bill was higher than an initial rough estimate led me to expect, and it was not itemized--no breakdown of parts, hours of labor, etc. I'm very pleased with the quality of the work, but next time I think I'd first go for a more exact, formal estimate (because of time considerations, we were unable to get such estimates from several providers.)

I scheduled an 8-9 appointment 2 1/2 weeks in advance because of my work schedule and availability of TLC to get to me first thing on that day. On Tuesday of the this week I called to check to see that things were on track for my appointment and was told my time was from 10-1. I explained that I had made the appointment for first thing that day from 8-9 over two weeks ago. The scheduler checked with the service people and came back on the line saying they would be at my home 8-9 that Friday. When Friday arrived the time got to be 8:35 and I thought to call to see if things were on track for my appointment and was told they had me scheduled in the 10-1 time slot. I repeated to them that I made the appointment over two weeks ago and verified it just a few days ago and that the time was first thing 8-9. Their technician called me back and I was told they wouldn't be able to make it in that time frame. I had scheduled other appointments this day giving a little time for them to run long but their time they said they could get to me was outside of that. I called back and asked for the service manager (Becky) and was put through to her voicemail. I haven't heard back yet (1/2 hour) but I imagine she may get back to me at some point. The weather is supposed to get into the triple digits next week and I'm going to have to get someone else to do it if possible. I'm very displeased with TLC and this experience and with the number of A listed heating and air suppliers out there I think I'll begin using another company to take care of my maintenance needs. I spent too much time trying to coordinate this around my work schedule and TLC's schedule to find out they weren't going to be able to meet the appointment made 2 1/2 weeks in advance.

Was okay at first but the facet that tied to the air-conditioner broke and he fixed it. After he was done which was not not even a full hour he said they couldn't warranty their service because my air-conditioner was old and he didn't know how long it would last. Why didn't he tell me before anything was done? It cost me $253.20 which could have gone towards a new conditioner. They didn't clean the water distribution pipe so my air-conditioner does not cool. Also I asked for a bid on a new air-conditioner or a refrigerated combo unit but he did not follow through. I was very disappointed because I have used TLC in the past and they did good work.

They had to turn off the water. They've always been very good. They finished the job, they take care of everything.

I called on a Friday to schedule the quote and got transferred to Mark's voicemail. I left my name and number, but did not receive a call back. The following week I called again and talked with Mark. He set up a time the next week at 10am. I took time off of work to be there, but no one showed up. When I called Mark, he basically said "Oops, we had to 'let him go'" . This bothered me for two reasons: 1) They were going to send me a person to give me a quote that was so incompetent that they had to let him go ( how useless would that quote have been?), and 2) they hadn't bothered to reassign his work load. Mark did apologize and said he would have someone call me in the next 10 minutes. 45 minutes later I gave up and went back to work. A half hour after that, someone called and said that they were really busy, but if I could take more time off they would try to squeeze me in. By that time I was way to frustrated from the lack of customer service and respect to take them up on that grudging offer. It took me 3 weeks to NOT get a quote from TLC. It's very disappointing when a company gets so big that customer service disappears.

Its been good. A little pricey but good. They were good if I rated them I would give them a 5/5 treatment. They did a good job. They were professional. Like I said they were pricey, but you get what you pay for. Just give them all As. I would use them again for a big job. It was a difficult job because it was in a basement, and they found a unit that would fit. They re did a bunch of pipes. It was just a complicated job and it has worked fine since then.

Furnace repair. The technician was able to diagnose the problem, but did not have the right part. He had to drive back to Albuquerque to get it. When he returned he was able to get the unit running. I appreciated his professional response and efficient job .

They take care of all my plumbing needs. I have been using them for 10 years now. They are very good. They are prompt, feel like a good value for the money and the guys are very respectful of my house. Took an hour maybe.

TLC responded very quickly. One man showed up right away to assess the need for a team of repairpeople and how quickly we actually needed it. He determined that we did need a team and we did need them right away. There were actually two teams. The first two men diagnosed where the problem was and another team arrived immediately thereafter with the equipment needed to do the repair. A week later, but on a Monday, we woke to find the opposite side of the master bedroom was flooding. TLC immediately took care of that problem, also. We had been seeing TLC trucks all around the neighborhood; the houses are all 40 to 50 years old and developing the same problem, one after the other.

Tech called ahead, and arrived during the two hour window specified when the appt was made. The issue was that the kitchen sink drain piping was prone to clogging from garbage disposal and the Tee connection. He replaced most of the piping under the kitchen sink, and re-structured it to minimize any future problems. He was polite and helpful. Tested the work and adjusted it to ensure it was installed correctly. Cleaned up and left the undersink area as found. The job was done right. Only issue is that he rounded the time spent up to the next half-hour, and did not apply the correct amount for the Angie's List coupon. Did not note that until after he had left. Saw some of the negative Angie's List reviews, but we did not have any of those issues.

They've been coming for years. They could charge less.

They did an amazing job, on what the service tech described as one of the top five worse obstructions he had ever seen. They came late, and did not call, which was a minus. However, he stayed until the problem was solved. He had to get into our crawl space, and open an access panel in the house. The price was very fair, and they solved my problem.

Was not tested properly...handle would always drop to cold setting. Had to call tech. back...this is the third time I have had to call back a tech from TLC to correct their work. I have talked to their service advisor. On the plus side, they did replace the hoses & duct for my washer/dryer very nicely.

Jack and his partner Warren did neat work on a pipe that was difficult to get at in a cramped space behind a closet in foot-thick concrete. The job took a full five hours, which was the estimate given. They re-concreted the floor, and cleaned everything up to perfection. All around--a job well done.

Our 12 year old water heater went out on a Saturday night. We called TLC because they answer 24/7. They scheduled Victor on Sunday morning at 10:00. He diagnosed either the thermocouple or gas starter. Considering the age of the water heater and a previous service call we opted to replace it. Victor showed up the next day at 8:00am with a courtesy call 45 minutes prior and the new water heater installed by 11:00. He was professional, efficient and gave us the straight up. We paid $1770 and have plenty hot water. Thank you Victor and TLC for such great service!

Started out as fairly good experience when the technician arrived an hour late. I asked about the Rate I was quoted for the weekend and the figure of $150-$170 for the first hour was confirmed by the technician. About 45 minutes into the visit no leak was identified and but was told repeatedly that it was a foundation leak but could not verify that was the case. When I asked to pay the bill for the visit I was told that because of the distance there would be about $140 dollars addition plus tax. Total for the hour was $350.00 plus and no evidence that the leak was found but again told many times it was a foundation leakage and it would cost $2500.00 plus to find the leak. This company has lost any business from me! Technician was polite.
