DID NOT LIKE SERVICE WHEN CALLING FOR HELP. PERSON RUDE

II called TLC, whom I've used for several years and always had good experience with although always felt was a bit high in price. I had no hot water. I called and due to the weekend, the price was higher (expected);;;;when arrived a few hours later, I was immediately told the water heater had internally leaked and had rust on bottom of the compartment it sits in. I looked later as at the time I could not go outside due to health reasons and it looked the same as it always has. He then quoted me a price of $2255 to replace the water heater with installation. WHAT?! I am a senior on disability and it would take me well over a year to save that much. I then called him back and asked what would just installation be...$875 plus tax I understand from him it's more expensive as it needs to be a mobile home heater, which I can find online at Lowe's or Home Depot for $400 or so. I just don't get it...and now I'll be unable to bathe or shower for over a year, nice. I called someone else who came out and was able to get my water heater going...thermocoupler had slipped away from pilot. Working now...and of course that cost me more. Unfortunately I had put the door back on incorrectly and the wind blew it off and the pilot light is out so currently searching for someone to light it for me.

The experience was pretty good. It was coming in at a lower cost than I thought. They were pretty efficient. They were in and out in a few hours and got everything done. There was nothing to dislike. They were prompt and courteous. They were professional and they knew what they were doing. There were no issues since the service was provided. The price was very good because it came in under what I thought it would. I have used them in the past.

Very smooth. The estimate was discussed in my first call to them. They got here on the day and time agreed to and did an efficient job. When they found that the primary duct the unit attaches to was corroded beyond repair they let me know and showed me what they had found when they removed the old unit. We discussed price, came to terms and they ordered it over the phone. In the time it took for them to remove the old unit to their truck, reconfigure the electrical feeds and have lunch, the duct was ready for pick up. It took a couple of more hours to install, test and adjust everything. When they left we had nothing to clean up, no issues with the unit throughout the rest of the season. I feel it was a fair price for the equipment, the modifications to the mounts and the skilled installers. The guys were very professional, they had done this before. A lot of times before.

I have had them come and work on our kinetico system twice and both times they have been able to come out in a reasonable time and were punctual and polite. Both times the system was serviced well.

This is a great company. I use them for both emergency service and regular maintenance. They're not the cheapest place on the block, but they are reasonable. They are prompt, courteous and do good work.

Had an intermittent problem with my heater and wouldn't you know when they came out it worked fine. Good thing was since they really didn't do anything they didn't charge me.

Washing machine would wash, and the spin cycle would empty the drum, but leave clothes sopping wet. I called in the morning, and received service the same day. The tech Steve Haydu was courteous, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain what was going on, and why, using the old parts as demonstration. I had been hoping to get the machine repaired for between $100 and $120 (not based on any research at all, just wishful thinking), so $170 caught me a little by surprise, but it's fixed, and fixed right, so I'm willing to pay what I need to pay for that.

TLC Plumbing & Utility had fair prices. Their work was really good, all around. They had really good customer service, with quality work.

The heater would only run for a few seconds--obviously not long enough to even keep the heat at 65. We called TLC and they sent someone out the same day. He was efficient, professional, and knowledgeable. He had the part with him and fixed the issue in an hour. The heat came on!! Yea!!! We would use this provider again because of their prompt attention.

Job was done. Supervisor Sky personally oversaw the camera work. All the crew were helpful and friendly.

The location of the break and the proximity of the sidewalk to the house made it very challenging for the technician to repair the leak and he had to contort his body to creep into the tunnel. Soldering the metal joint was also very difficult due to limited visibility around the pipe circumference. The technician was honest to tell me he had accidentally cut a slit in the buried drip irrigation hose while digging and went to the store and got the parts to splice a fresh piece of hose at the damaged section. He charged me only the original estimated amount even though the work required him to expend a lot more time and effort. TRULY AN OUTSTANDING JOB BY A VERY COMPETENT AND HONEST INDIVIDUAL-HIS NAME IS ABRAM!

They are prompt in scheduling appointments (even at night... emergent visit -- ;) -- arriving on time and doing an excellent job!!! I would recommend!

They were on time and did a great job (even went into our crawl space under the house to ensure a gas line was capped off). We will definitely be using them again!

We returned from a trip on a weekend to find that our furnace wasn't working. I used Angie's list and found TLC had good ratings and offered emergency service. When I called she told me the price difference if I could wait until Monday, but I chose to get the repair done at once. The technician was on time and very courteous and professional. He had to make numerous trips from the thermostat to the furnace before he established that a wire had broken and fixed it. When he left we had heat again. Even with the discount that they offer Angie's list people I doubt that TLC is usually the cheapest that you can find but the service they provide is not second-rate either.

The two plumbers who arrived were on time and did their work quickly. The old water heater was very heavy and they had to devise a way to get it up the 6 steps from our small utility basement to the outside. All their work was great. There were no leaks or any problems with the new heater after they left. TLC has always been very professional and responsive. However, their prices seem high. But, maybe that's what it costs for great service.

I rented a roto-rooter on a Friday, but couldn't get it fixed by removing the toilet and going in that way (a "T" junction keep blocking my efforts). A waste of $75 since my house didn't have yard sewer cleanouts. It was a Saturday morning before a holiday, many companies weren't open, TLC was and they didn't even charge extra. TLC went thru my removed toilet also, but managed to get past the "T' after several attempts. Rest was uneventul, total cost was about $125 and they even discounted 10% for angie list member. Cleanup was OK. I reseated the toiled myself, since I had removed it in the first place. The plumber was knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. I would use TLC again.

It all went exceptionally we. They came out and gave an estimate, next day returned with the supplies they need, did the installation and cleaned up after they were done.

Identified a problem in the morning, called TLC, and a new water heater was in place and functioning by the early evening.

Went great. They were professional and really took their time to find out exactly where the leak was coming from. AFter the pipe was repaired, the main issue of a smell wasn't gone, so we didn't know for sure if there was another leak. They came out and did extensive testing and couldn't find another leak anywhere. They suggested a simple solution for the smell - bleach in the drain, and that seemed to have done the trick for now. If the smell were to come back, I wouldn't think twice about calling them. They went out of their way to be helpful. Even stopping by after their work day to catch the smell we were experiencing. We've used TLC for all our plumbing and air conditioning work. All the staff has been great and very trustworthy.

TLC responded immediately, sent a repair person out, and fixed the problem. We were told that there would be a Christmas Day surcharge in the initial contact, no surprises. The heater pilot was replaced within an hour by a friendly and knowledgeable repair man.

Scheduling went easily and turn-around time was fast. Joseph came on time, left to get the replacement part, and finished the repair within an hour and a half. He stayed until he was sure the toilet was working OK.
