Was not very customer friendly on the phone. Was not looking for when I was avaialble rather than trying to slot me in to times that they have. Never once asked when I was free. Felt like just being treated as a number rather than a real person.

They did a really good job and I felt that their price was fair.

They were very responsive and came out quickly. Out of the other quotes we received this company's estimate was the best. The technician was very professional and seemed to know what they were talking about. I liked the product they were offering and look forward to having the service completed.

We have used Thompson for 15 years. However, the owners / management has become very unprofessional When an obvious mistake in the recent billing happened , they refused to willingly correct it.

The workers arrived at the scheduled time and removed and replaced the evaporative cooler and old ductwork through the roof and down into the house. They reconnected the water line and electrical connections and tested the unit for cooling. Everything went smoothly. I would definitely use them again.

What stood out to me about them is mostly their price. I did have to have them come back several times to correct things but they did it very promptly. They were very responsive to my phone calls. As soon I called, they sent somebody out and they corrected what ended up being very minor like an insulation problem.

Good. Mario - the installer - was prompt, friendly, focused on the installation and insuring quality and neatness. Communication with marketing/ administration was not what I expected. A rating for punctuality relates to the installer.

We selected only Angie's List top candidates to quote. Each bidder performed professionally and went out of the way to guide us on options. As we became more knowledgeable about options, we revised our specifications several times and bidders responded promptly. All arrived on time or slightly early for their on-site inspection - most impressive. Thompson was the only bidder who performed a Manual D calculation to substantiate the bid. Thompson's quote was the best price, although there was less than $1,000 between the highest and lowest quote. Thompson's quote was for equipment that is among the best rated by consumer rating organizations. Old equipment removal and installation proceeded on time, exactly as outlined. Installers, electricians, PNM arrived just as scheduled and completed their work in slightly less than the 3 day schedule for the equipment in the original part of the home. The mini-split was done as a second phase, a week later and was done with the same professionalism and timeliness. Thompson's employees and contractors were very sensitive to our schedule, needs, and standards. They protected carpets, furniture, and grounds. There was no smoking, swearing, or other detracting actions. This was as high-quality experience as we could hope for. The equipment performs better than our expectations, is quiet, and operates at lower kilowatt-hours than we anticipated. We couldn't be more pleased.

After getting a few estimates from the major companies in the area we decided to go with Thompson based on price and material. Marvin drew up the design and gave us an estimate and Jeff installed the gutters. Jeff did a wonderful job. He installed the gutters all by himself (which is really hard to believe unless you actually see him) But he did a great job, was very professional, and punctual and worked in a very time efficient manner. The problem that we are having now is that they system was poorly designed to accommodate the rain barrel. There is an approximate 10 ft gutter piece that leads to the down spout that feeds the barrel. In that 10 ft of gutter is another downspout so all of that rain water that could be harvested just goes right out of that down spout. Further more there is a downspout that comes off of the second story roof that is right on the other side of the barrel that too could have been moved over just a few feet so that it drained onto the first story and then into the barrel. We waited to write this review until after we had a chance to see it rain a bit so we know how the gutters are actually holding up. The gutters seem fine the design and layout are defective. When I called today to talk to Marvin, he basically said that couldn't be changed. And I asked him if then our only choice was to live with the poor design and he said and quot;yesand quot;. I'm kind of upset that we spent so much money with the intention of preserving water and because of a design flaw we are left with a mediocre job that cost too much. It was my understanding that the people designing the system knew what they were doing. If I had known I had to be an expert on downspouts in order to have them put in the correct places I would have gone with ABC they seemed to know how to harvest all of the water that fell on our roof and the difference in price would have been worth it because it's a matter of a job done right or not.

I called for an estimate and scheduled a time for it. The estimator arrived promptly at the scheduled time and inspected the house for where I wished the guttering. He offered some suggestions for how to place the downspouts and the provided an estimate. I later accepted the estimate and called to schedule the work for the following Monday. The installer arrive at the scheduled time and installed the gutter without any problems just as planned. The installer was very knowledgeable and professional. I would definitely call them again.

Their service people cooperated with all requirements of our ACC and installed the equipment in a timely fashion. The installers were courteous and efficient. They cleaned up each day. I would recommend them to my friends.

They were the best price by far for the job. The work was done promptly and correctly.

I used Thompson for 2 reasons: 1. Lennox sent Thompson to my home to check on a recall of furnaces for a firebox crack approx 18 years ago and I was impressed with the person who represented Thompson at that time. 2. Thompson is a home owned company and I believe we should support these people. It turns out that the man who had come to my home 18 years ago...came to my home again in 2011, as employees stay with Thompson....they don't just work a few years and move on to somewhere else. I found this to be true of most of the installers for the new furnace and AC. The personnel were very professional, knew exactly what they were supposed to do and worked efficiently. I have absolutely no complaints and would use them again and reccommend them to others.

The quality was really good. We live next to an alley and we have to keep our backyard locked all the time. The guy came and put the gutters on; he finished the job and took off. I looked out 15 minutes later and he wasn't out front or in the back and I thought maybe he needed to go get a part. I waited a little longer and then I called him. He had forgotten to tell us he was finished and he left our back gate open. The price was good and the estimator that came out was really good. The installer was really friendly; he just took off and forgot to tell us.

Installer was on time, even a bit early for appointment and went right to work. He was very professional and I am very pleased with the work done. Will use this company for not only gutter work, but heating and swamp cooler work in the future.

We have been using them for 16 years because they are dependable and reasonably priced. They use high quality products and this last experience went perfectly. We ended up paying less than the estimate they provided. They have always been excellent.

We spent $4,000 on that work. They were fast, efficient and I researched it and found that they gave us the best price. They were very professional, cleaned up after themselves and explained everything they were doing. They were quick as far as coming out and getting the work done.

The company started out by being late for the first appointment. When first discussed with the salesperson, we talked about thermostats for automatic turn on. He gave an estimate but didn't include that. They had to be added at an additional cost. They have had to be out several times to trouble shoot things that have gone wrong with the coolers and hookups. Because the water lines weren't replaced we have had several leaks leading to bigger water bills.

Their estimator came out, took measurements and talked with us about what we wanted. He said he would get the bid to us in about two days. We called and requested one change which we expected would prolong the calculation time. About a week and a half later we had heard nothing and called and were told he was working on it. Finally we called someone at the company whom we knew. About two days later we received a one-page bid. The bid we received from the company that did the job was ten pages including the floor plan of our house and explanations of why they chose the equipment and and manufacturer they recommended

The interest was less than a dollar and not important, but the inconvenience of having to call and then stay home for the second visit, which should have been unnecessary was what bothered us.
