The Floor Store at the Carpet Co

We are very pleased we chose the The Floor Store to help us select new flooring and have it installed. We worked with Bill Cunningham to choose carpet and vinyl flooring materials that we are very satisfied with. The installation crews for both the hard floor and the carpet were incredibly professional and highly skilled. They arrived as scheduled, worked consistently throughout the day(s) and completed the work when expected. Between the new flooring and new baseboards, our house feels refreshed and contemporary. This was a great investment in our home and we're so glad we made it.

every thing went well,Randy came to the house with tile, got measurements,told me when they could start, which was in 3 day. Cesar did the install. Great work, very clean when he worked. and help move some furniture, and put everything back to normal. 5 stars!!

Wonderful. The sales person was very helpful and on the ball all the time. The installation people were courteous, prompt and completed the job very fast. This was by far the best experience I've had with this type of company.

Tori was our salesman. I appreciated that he gave suggestions which helped in my final decision. We were disappointed that we could not get the discount offered to Angie's list customers. Installation of both tile and carpet were good. Tori was in contact with us during the whole operation and any issues were dealt with efficiently.

Very impressed! MUCH less expensive than three other competitor companies we asked for bids from (two of which never bothered following-up by contacting me again after sending in their quotes. ???) The Floor Store is not a "fancy", "designer-y" outfit; a plus in my book. Diane was our salesperson at The Floor Store. She got down to business immediately in preparing a readable, detailed, emailed quote after visiting the house to measure and take a look. We found several tiles we liked in their large showroom... and were encouraged to take the LARGE (I mean FULL-size!) tiles home for a day or two to help us choose. That was amazingly beneficial. Diane certainly went the extra, extra mile to hunt down replacement tile to match our existing tile where we needed a weird repair done in another room... she did a superb job with that difficult task, which I bet took plenty of time & effort & skill... all pleasantly accomplished when the repair work part of our total bill did not come to more than $500!! The big room was a pretty simple, straight-forward job -- carpet pulled out and new tile installed. Work was done expertly by a skilled guy named Joseph... ask for him to do the install, if he is available. He is a PRO. 110% courteous, knowledgeable, FAST, careful, tidy, knows his stuff. He also did a GREAT job with the repair job... which was a little tricky. From signing contract to finish of work was amazingly speedy -- where other companies we talked to wanted TWICE the time to process paperwork, do credit checks, order materials, schedule workmen, whatever. Diane always answered my phone calls and emails within an hour - excellent customer service compared to experiences with other outfits.

Our house, built in 1950, presented several flooring challenges. We are pleased with the quality of the tile we purchased but more than that, we greatly appreciated Randy Jordan’s superior customer service. He anticipated difficulties, planned effectively, and provided excellent solutions regarding transitions between rooms. His communication was amazing throughout the process.

Very well. Randy Jordan was our salesman. He went over many possibilities explaining many options (color, texture, durability, pad options, etc.) When our selection was made we worked out an installation date. The install crew arrived on time was very professional did an excellent job. There were several large pieces of furniture to move, this they did with no problem and no hint of displeasure. The entire job was done in less than a day, consistent with Randy's estimate. All in all my wife and I are very pleased with the service from the Floor Store.

From the moment we walked into The Floor Store Randy bent over backwards to help us find the right tile and carpet for our lake house. There was never any pressure and he allowed us to take any samples we wanted with us to compare on site. Everything he did was timely and professional and the installers he sent out were some of the best we have ever worked with and this is our 5th house. I can't say enough about how positive the experience was working with Randy and his team.

They arrived on time. The installers were polite & professional. They went to work right away and were done quickly. They cleaned up after themselves and the carpet is beautiful!!

We went to the store so Randy could show us some samples and then had Randy come to the house to measure. He brought some more samples he thought we might like and he hit it on the nail. One of the new samples was perfect for us. The quote arrived within 2 days which was a lot sooner than other companies. We agreed on a date and hi crew showed up on time. His installation crew were as professional as you can get. They knew exactly what they were doing and the job came out perfect. All in all starting with Randy, the staff at the store and the install crew everyone was great and I would highly recommend them to everyone.

I was contacted after my review in Angies list.Sheldon came out & inspected the problem areas & repaired the ones he could.He returned with Cody & they spent an entire morning repairing the rest of the seams.Also found a couple of places we did not know about.Sheldon was very thuroughin inspecting the whole job.We were very impressed with his professionalism.

The installers arrived on time and got to work removing the old tile, then replacing it with the sheet vinyl. They needed to disconnect the dryer (gas) and the washer. I had to borrow a larger wrench from a neighbor since the installer did not have one and mine was too small. The new flooring looks great! There was some edging put on the step to make it look more finished and some edging around the bottom of the walls in that area. The next day, when I was drying my clothes, I discovered that there was no heat in the dryer. I called the Floor Store right away and an employee wanted to come out that afternoon to fix it. I was not available that afternoon, so he came out the next morning. I also noticed that the dryer vent hose was pushed in. The employee went to a local hardware store to buy a new dryer hose, and he discovered that the gas had not been turned back on, for the heat in the dryer. He also checked the gas line for any leaks (there were none). I really appreciated the quick response to the problem and the willingness to fix whatever needed to be done. The company's response evidenced true customer service and wanting to make things right.

We went to the floor store looking for some special tile that I could not find do any where. We met Lanny Ross and he took us on a tour of the show room. It was really set up nice and affordable. Lanny helped us order the tile and gave us a great price on the carpet. He had installers there in about three weeks they were nice and polite and cleaned up well. With all said Lanny was great he even came after the project was complete and gave us special cleaners.

They're really good. When I can afford it, I'm getting them to put in more carpeting. They do a good job. The new carpet is really nice. It's tight. They did a good job. They help you a lot, especially for a guy like me. They gave me four selections rather than 100 or something. I'm positive I made the right selection.

The sales guy was helpful, although a bit gruff. The installation was scheduled for a Friday morning and what a disaster. Two young kids showed up (one clearly a teenager, one not much older). They implied they didn't speak English, so communication for the next 9 hours was difficult, and no one stopped by to supervise/check in. They worked slowly, were loud and not skilled or careful; my baseboards are extremely scraped up, they put a new hole in one step, and disregarded the carpet grain when working on the steps. When it rained, they gestured to the person at home, who is disabled, to make room in the garage for everything that had been in the driveway. When, after 8 hours and no finished job, I called the sales guy, he made a racist joke and said "too bad" they can't control the crew that shows up. In the end, a manager sent a qualified installer to fix the carpet on he steps, but I still have the hole, the damaged base boards and the pleasure of paying for the experience.
