Super Mario Drywall promptly replied to my request for an estimate to fix several ceilings in my residence that had water damage. Angie set up an appt on a Sunday for me, that really helped me out (it is hard to to get time off from work), Mario came out and was extremely courteous and professional. The estimate was fair. The work was scheduled for Aug. 22. The guys were late but more than made up for it by finishing the work in one day, cleaning up the mess. It was a great experience and I would recommend this company highly to anyone.

The jobs I had were too small or they wanted too much money for them. They guy who came out was a real nice guy but he never called me back.

I scheduled an appt with Super Mario and got home early to meet them. They never showed up. I would never do business with a company that schedules appointment's and then doesn't show up. How responsible can they be? I had to schedule the appt through email, as when I called their number I got a voicemail message saying the voice mailbox was full and could not accept any messages. Again, shows lack or responsibility.

Unfortunately, this company doesn't understand how Angie's List Deals work. I paid the discounted price of $89 for $165 worth of work. The company sent me an estimate for the total project cost, which was reasonable. However, they only subtracted $89 from the total, which I had already paid. They refused to subtract the total value of the Angie's List Deal ($165) that I should have received instead. This Angie's List Deal was no deal at all, but essentially a down payment ($89, prepaid) toward the total amount due. There was virtually no discount given.

He was about an hour late, though his office called to say he was on the way, so I appreciated that. He floated in the new drywall, then smoothed and textured the new surface to match the existing walls. The job was very well done and the cleanup was very good.

Mario and partner accessed the job and would have completed it in a much quicker fashion if they had not had to clean off what ever my tile guy had applied. Once the old patch material was removed, Mario quickly repaired the two holes which were each about 6" by 6" with new dry wall. He taped and applied the mud profesionally. I have since painted the area and you can't see where the patches were made. They did a great job at a reasonable price.

The dry wall specialist arrived a little late, but called from where he was stuck in a traffic jam to let me know where he was (greatly appreciated). I showed him all the areas in our house that need repair. There are MANY. I asked him to repair the improperly installed bull nose corner first, and if there was any time left, continue with the problems in the kitchen. He explained that he had to go get a part for the corner, and I said, "OK." Four hours later, I realized that he had gone over three hours, and I said that he had done "enough." When it came tome to pay him, he hesitated. I said that I realized that he had gone over the three hours of the coupon, and that I was willing to pay him more. He told me it was about a $450.00 job. I think he should have told me that before he went over-time. The work was excellent. He is a perfectionist. I would hire him again, but only with a estimate and a promise to not go over. We negotiated on a price. I don't expect people to work for an unreasonably low fee, and I know excellent work that he did was worth much more than $89.00. I think my experience has changed my opinion of "Angies List" coupons. And, if Super Mario can't afford to do three hours of drywall repair for 89.00, then he shouldn't agree to do it.

Their quality of the work standouts and I pay a premium but they do really good work.

Mario and his partner scraped off the old plaster, sanded the wallboard ceiling, primed the surface, and applied the texture coat to the ceiling in approximately 6-7 hours. It was a messy job and all overhead, but they did it well and cleaned up after working. Because of weather, my plans, and Memorial Day Weekend they came and applied the paint three days later. That took about 2-3 hours... estimated. Mario made sure that I was satisfied with the project before he left, which I appreciated. The workmanship looks great!His wife was helpful in setting up scheduling and preparing a statement of the estimate. I did receive a 15% Angie's List discount.

Very punctual and the work was done in one day, too quickly I think. After discussing the importance of making the finished product look good, the painting was pretty poorly done in spots. Overall, the work was pretty sloppy, small amounts overspray from texturing were all over, drops of paint all over, two rugs had paint and/or drywall mud on them. Overall the work seemed rushed and sloppy.

He did a great job. We have a 16 foot tall ceiling and it was quite a task. He had to use scaffolding. He offered to let us keep the scaffolding to paint. He was prompt and cleaned up after himself. He was a tad late, but he called us to let us know he would be late, because he was picking up the scaffolding.

Mario was recommended by a finish carpenter because of a tight deadline. I called their office, Angela sent Mario over that afternoon. He reviewed the damage to the ceiling. Though he had other jobs, he made a special effort to work the weekend to meet our Tuesday deadline. The result was perfect texture and paint match. Would highly recommend this company.

Overall Mario worked efficiently and diligently. Looks like new now

.Mario showed up to give us an estimate and after receiving estimates from 2 other companies, we decided to go with Mario. Mario and one employee came out, prepped the room, and started cutting out the damaged drywall. By the end of the day, all the drywall had been replaced and texturing had been applied. In addition, when mold was found in the damaged areas, Mario applied an antimicrobial spray to the affected and surrounding area. Mario completed painting the next day. Overall, we were very happy with the quality of the work and the professionalism of Mario. We would definitely hire him again for drywall repair.

They did a good job. They told me that the colors would match, but they did not. They showed up on time. I would use them in the future.

Mario and his team were fast and efficient. His listened to all of our concerns and made sure his crew understood what needed to be done. They were on time and worked very fast to get our home back into livable order. They did an expert job that we are very pleased with.

I used the Angie's List "Big Deal" which offered 3 hours of drywall or plaster repair for $89.00. Mario arrived on time and did a beautiful job fixing the hole in my son's bedroom wall. He is very knowledgeable, does great work and he is a really nice guy. I will recommend Super Mario Drywall to all our friends.

Time management really needs to be worked on. He was late arriving to give me an estimate because my estimate had been scheduled at the same time as someone else's job. He had to call & push back my appointment three times & finally arrived almost 2 hours after the initial appointment time. After I decided to use the services of Super Mario Drywall - a date & arrival time were picked. The time came & went with no phone calls from the company. I called Mario on his cell phone & was informed he'd gone to finish another job before heading to my house. If the target time for arriving at my house was not to be followed, why bother to set it? (Note: although I selected the date - the arrival time was set by the company and not by me.) If he knew on the day before that he was going to need a couple of extra hours on the day he was due at my house - why not call me and let me know this? Some sort of phone call would have been the courteous thing to do and much better customer service.

They did a very good job. We were very happy with the outcome and the price! We used the Angie's List coupon for the removal of the popcorn ceiling. They work quickly but are very thorough. They did an excellent job of cleaning up as well. We would highly recommend!

Mario did an excellent job. You cannot tell the difference between the original ceiling and the repaired ceiling. I will definately use him again and would be comfortable referring friends to him.

This small job was done the same day we called for an appointment. He came, he saw, he repaired. There were no problems, he cleaned up after finishing the work. An altogether pleasant and professional experience with no complaint from us.

They were professional, timely and courteous. I couldn't say anything negative about them. I would've hired him to just do the drywall work because he has some wonderful referrals and recommendations. He was extremely personable and went into great detail to explain everything and make sure we knew how he was going to do things. We just decided to try a general handyman or contractor route instead. I told him in an email that I would refer him for this type of work because I was very impressed with him.
