Eric the owner listen to what I had envisioned for my backyard and made it happen. He finished ahead of schedule and under his original estimate. I really appeciated his hands on appoach and attention to detail. I would recommend summer sweet to any one who wants a professornal job done right.

The owners are very nice to work with. The crew they have is very good and very clean. They never left a mess and they were very safe. They did a beautiful job and we are very happy with the work.

Summersweet was recommended to me by a company where I previously purchased crushed stone and gravel. ?I checked their ?website and contractor's license before calling,?and was happy to see how professional they were, including the owner's?degree in?Horticulture and being in business since 1986. ?The company owner,?crew leader and workers were all wonderful throughout the project from listening to my plans to implementation/completion. ?They were good troubleshooters and solved problems with the connection from the drip system to the well. Although our?start date was delayed twice, once they arrived there was steady progress from start to finish and the job was quickly accomplished. ?Contacting the company by phone or email was always easy, and generated a quick response. ?My new garden is beautiful, should be easy to maintain, and will be enjoyed for many year to come.

Over the past 27 years we have hired Summersweet Landscaping four times. They had been in business for a year and we hired them for a complete front and backyard installation. At that location, a Homeowners Association was involved with the plans of the yard and everything went well during the planning process and completion of the project. For this project, plans had to be submitted to the Homeowners Association and approved by their board. All of this was done in a timely manner by Summersweet and completed. Several years later we moved and they installed a five foot curved rock border with edging and a large river rock drain so the water would drain away from the house. We had a Southwestern house and when it rains it comes pouring off the house quickly. Years later at this house we decided to add more rock/edging border and another big river rock drain near the street. For this job, they went above and beyond and filled in all of the bare spots where we needed rock in other parts of the yard. At our current location, we are changing the rock to a different style and trimming some large tree roots that are above ground. We continue to hire Summersweet for our landscaping needs because we have always been pleased with the work they have done in the past. The price is fair, jobs are completed as discussed on the estimate, changes can be made easily, good ideas are proposed for what you need, and its great to deal directly with the owner.

Owner, Eric Jaramillo, came out to see my horrible looking front yard the same day I called him and he provided an estimate in a timely manner. I hated the rock in the yard and the grass was long gone. I have 8 pine trees in the yard and wanted to provide them a more natural landscape. Eric's crew arrived promptly and went at it--removing and hauling away layer after layer of rock. They installed a drip irrigation system and knowledgeably answered any questions I had. They expertly installed plant material and distributed the pine straw. Very pleased with results. Great company, very personable owners.

All of our interactions have been far beyond expectations. Eric and his crew are absolutely wonderful to work with. They are flexible, polite, considerate of neighbors, experienced, excellent at their jobs, detail-oriented and they work hard from start to finish. In each of our projects the crew has volunteered to help us with other things at the house -- they removed crates from our driveway that a swingset had been delivered in, they hauled away excess dirt from a project that i did myself, replaced a tree that was past its guarantee date that got hit hard by a rough winter. Eric guarantees all of his work and lives up to every bit of it. The yard is incredible and we love everything they've done. The accents and details are all spot on - everything from irrigation and lawn to the rocks and crusher-fine paths are just perfect. I have and will continue to recommend Summersweet to friends and relatives that need any amount of landscape work done. It's a great experience and the results have always ended up even better than i imagined.

Having to deal with my meddling changes, and inclement weather did draw out the process past the anticipation finish date. The companies willingness and patience in working with me, the installation of free extra fence panels raised the quality of service from silver to platinum. Would I have them again? YOU BET!

Very good. Eric came out and did a preliminary assessment. My mom felt very strongly on some of the landscaping she did not want to remove - and she is no shrinking violet. She is a 80+ yr old woman who is sharp as a tack and he treated her with great respect and was very thorough on his explanations of what he would be doing with his crew. My mom liked that and came around to some of his recommendations with out any pressure from the company. AND it was a better idea to remove some of the huge, old juniper bushes along the driveway and it did turn out better. She is very pleased with the job overall. There were a few bumps along the way, but not anything huge for this level of large landscaping job and again, we would very much recommend this company.

From the start, Summersweet was professional, equipped with personnel and supplies, and finished the landscape project on time and within budget. Our property is the best in the neighborhood!!

They never told us they'd never done that kind of work (the kitchen island part). He had a good design visually...just didn't know how to build it. They measured incorrectly the space needed to fit a small under-counter fridge...they forgot to account for the 4 inches of flagstone added to our prexisting patio. As a result, it wouldn't fit. First they tried jackhammering out the concrete underneath...they tried cutting the table top...and they tried physically forcing it in (scratching the fridge in the process). They ended up having to take the entire table top off, and raising it by several inches. The second big issue was the fact that they used plywood as the table base/island top under the tile. Plywood expands and contracts with water. The grout came off in 2 weeks. We are now redoing the entire table top, grout, and stucco just 2 years later (needed it last year but are just now doing it). The worst part was the arrogant attitude as if this was somehow our fault, and expecting us to pay ANYTHING additional to correct their mistakes. That's just downright unprofessional. The owner was quite rude in the resolution process as well.

It didn't go....they vanished after coming out to have a look.

I USE THEIR SERVICES ALL THE TIME. THEY ARE AN EXTREMELY RELIABLE COMPANY. I'M CONFIDENT THAT WHAT THEY DO WILL LOOK ALRIGHT. I HAVE RECOMMENDED THEM BEFORE AND WOULD AGAIN.
