My wife and I recently purchased an Older Home in the Nob Hill Region of Albuquerque. The house had previously been hardwired and serviced by a larger national security company. Given prior negative experiences at other properties with these larger companies and binding contracts, etc., I wanted to go with a local business for my security needs. I can verify without any reservation that I couldnâ t be happier with the service I received from Brandon and his crew at SW security. Give them a call, I know you will be too. I originally found SW security on Angi, And then looked into the BBB To verify the quality of their work. I was very pleased to see that they have an A+ rating which they are very deserving of. After meeting with several contractors from different companies, it was pretty clear from the beginning that Brandon, the owner at SW security stands out from the rest. He was personable, engaging, took time to answer all of my questions and was very knowledgeable in regards to what I would need to best secure my house. I canâ t make that same statement about the other local businesses I met with. At no time did I feel like I was being sold a â one size fits all systemâ or pressured into anything I didn't want. I will note that I was not interested in getting the cheapest or â best dealâ on my system. I don't believe that cutting corners is something to do with your personal security. My wife and I had fumbled through several DIY security systems currently available and after much disappointment, wanted something much more robust. I can say that with the installation now done for the better part of a month, we have achieved that standard and much more. I can now monitor my security system remotely while at work, and arm or disarm the system from my smartphone. This may seem like a small detail, but the piece of mind, knowing I can be gone for 8-12 hours while my family and possessions are protected is worth its weight in gold. His installation team, consisting of technologists Austin and Seth, was not only efficient and effective, but also highly professional. They took care to place alarms and sensors in discreet locations where they would not only be effective, but also aesthetically pleasing. The two of them were very polite and took all of my placement concerns into consideration. The team needed to come back on a separate day to complete the job since I wanted my wood doors drilled for more discreet appearing sensors. They were more than accommodating in this regard and worked around my schedule to come by and finish the job. They set up temporary sensors on my doors for a day or two to make sure that the house was secured until they could completely finish the job. Afterwards, they used a shop vac and cleaning up wood shavings to give a very nice clean work space. Overall, you should do yourself a favor and Call SW security for a consultation on your security needs. I couldnâ t be happier that I did. I can sleep at night knowing my house and family is safe from intruders. I will certainly be using the companyâ s service for years to come,

I'm a new customer and am impressed by the top-quality service and system I received from Brandon, the owner of SW Security. He's very responsive, answered all my questions, and sent out 2 installers - Austin and Seth - who did an excellent job. All 3 of them are professional, respectful and thorough. The system app and screen are easy to use and I feel much safer in my home now. I highly recommend SW Security.

Southwest security installed 2 cameras overlooking the front of my property. The cameras record in color both day and night with 4K resolution and they are hard wired, so I donâ  t need to charge/replace batteries. The system includes a DVR with 30 days of storage, an 8 hour backup battery in case of a power outage and a screen monitor. While relaxing in my living room, I can see the entire front of my property in high detail both day and night. Of course, I can also see my property on my phone from anywhere. We are very pleased with the setup and there is no monthly fee. I think itâ  s a very good deterrent for thieves and other bad guys. Daniel and the installers were very knowledgeable, listened carefully to all my concerns and were very pleasant to work with.

They were very professional, knowledgeable, and patient with us from the beginning of the process, such as getting estimates to reviewing the pros/cons, to the completion of the project! They did a wonderful job in explaining the installation and the overall use of our new system. Would definitely recommend them!

Professional, knowledgeable and courteous

All aspects of the experience were great, from Daniel the consultant who went over our needs to the installation team that did the work. Daniel wasn't pushy in trying to sell us things we didn't need or want. The 2 man installation team very very professional, proficient and friendly. They explained the placement of the sensors to get maximum utility from them. They cleaned up the little dust they made drilling holes for the control panel. They went through the operation of the whole system, making sure that we understood everything. I spoke to Brandon (the owner) after the job was done and he wanted to make sure we we happy with everything, and we were. Over the past 34 years we had alarm systems installed by a national chain in 3 different homes. Seeing the Southwest high ratings on various online sites made us want to try them. We're glad we did.

I always prefer local companies when possible especially when it comes to alarms for my home. Southwest Securityâ s provided exceptional work. They were able to modify and work with my 20 year old hardwired alarm security system and upgrade it to the latest alarm system, technology, allowing remote control of my legacy system via cell phone app with alarm.com. The employees were very knowledgeable of how to move my system to the next level. While the effort took more time than any of us expected, the work was quality and top-notch. I appreciate their ability to work around my schedule at the fire department. They also allowed me to watch how the work was completed and educated me on any questions that I asked. Working with Southwest Security was easy and I highly recommend using their services. Southwest Security assisted with conception to installation and was immediately there to answer any questions. They also have followed up every step of the way during each process. It shows that Southwest Security is a business that values its workers and customers. The installers, Austin and Seth, were quick and kept a clean area while installing our system. They are a great company and have provided exceptional customer service.

Had them out to place the equipment on a Saturday. The equipment would not link to the company computer so it could not be completed. The company is not open on Saturdays so they could not troubleshot the problem. Paid extra to have them come out on a Saturday. What a joke!

Brandon and Daniel were both great at customer service. The guys who did the installations were excellent! They know their stuff! The price for the complete monitoring service was $15 per month less than our previous service provider. All in all, very happy with SW Security!
