Abraham and Humberto just finished placing a two tiered retaining wall (rail-road tie) and a poured concrete walkway with two large slabs on the side of my house. Both were done to control water flow and runoff. Humberto's engineering background was evident as he meticulously planned the slopes to ensure the water was diverted from my foundation.They did all the prep work and they wheel-barrowed in the concrete to protect my driveway from the weight of the cement truck...No easy task. They carried over twenty rail-road ties quite a distance to protect my landscaping and driveway. They completed the job on budget and on time. When they completed the job I was very unhappy with the appearance of the retaining wall and to everyone's dismay three of the slabs on the concrete work had cracked. I personally oversaw the concrete work and saw how meticulous they were finishing their product. When done....Humberto was extremely upset with the cracks (more then likely a poor concrete product), Humberto offered to pull up all of the bad slabs and redo...in the end Humberto and Abraham sealed the entire concrete job with a very expensive sealer at their own expense, The sidewalk turned out very nice. The retaining wall was not symmetrical initially and I let them both know I was not satisfied with its appearance...they immediately fixed the issue. Overall I was very happy with the work and will probably use them again as I have bigger plans ahead.

We hired Sol O Alire based on their Angie's List and BBB ratings as well as their design consultation. They did a fine job on the cinderblock wall and the gate works very nicely. My husband is very happy with the result. I, however, am not so pleased. Once the gate was hung, I noticed that the spacing between the gate rails was not uniform. The spacing is off up to an inch between each rail, which really bothers me. When I brought this issue to the attention of the owner, he said that he had never had an issue with his iron worker. The owner seemed to understand my concern, but did not offer any solution or compensation. Since the gate was already hung, in the back of the house, and I didn't want a gaping hole in my wall for an undetermined amount of time, I just accepted the situation and paid the balance due.

If you are looking for true professionals and hard fast quality work these are the two to call. I called Humberto and Abraham at 4:30pm after another contractor was a no show and they were at my house less than two hours later to give me an estimate. We worked out a price that was fair for the three of us and they showed up early the next morning to work on my wall. Even with me changing plans (adding) they were more than accommodating to my request. They completed the wall ahead of the estimated time cleaned up the areas that they were working on and were professional during the inspection. I will be using this company again.

Overall, the son and father team did a good job...sometimes it was unclear as to what would be charged. They did a good job overall.

They did everything right. Their work was excellent and at the price I expected it to be. Their stucco job matched our existing stucco very well and the gate looks great. I would hire them again.

I think they do quality work, they had a good price, and they were reliable. They took our input and did what we wanted to do while giving us suggestions. They matched the color of our stucco closely. They did a good job and we recommended them to other people.

They did the job themselves; diligently, professionally, and with an excellent product. Their prices were fair, they are extremely hard working gentlemen, and they aim to please the one who hires them. We could not be more pleased with the people or the product they created.

Humberto and his son, Abraham, did the work themselves. We are in Cedar Crest so the ground was not level and they had to improvise in some areas which they did well. They had to design and build gates. They were the only workers so there were no problems with shoddy subcontractors. They produce and excellent product. They are honest, diligent, hard working and knowledgeable. I cannot imagine reasonable person not being thrilled with these people and with their work product. The prices are also fair, which is an unexpected pleasure.
