+ -1 moreEverything went great. Paul obviously has a lot of knowledge and experience. He answered all my questions and really seems to care about his work. I would definitely recommend him for tree service.
Description of Work: Three very large trees needed extensive trimming and shaping. They had been neglected for quite a long time.

+ -1 morePaul is very knowledgeable about tree and bush infestations and their causes. He has low overhead and is able to keep prices low.
Description of Work: Paul came out to trim a few trees and treat bushes and trees that have been infested. He will come out again in February, 2014, to continue tree treatment with injections and spraying.

+ -1 morePaul is very conscientious and reliable. The services were performed very well. I was shocked to see an earlier reviewer's comments and asked Paul about it. This reviewer could not have researched the costs of tree services very well or she would have known that Paul's pricing is very fair. Paul only stated that unfortunately the individual ultimately let the trees die rather than take care of them. I am completely satisfied with the work Paul has done for me and recommend him wholeheartedly.
Description of Work: Paul did an excellent job removing new growth on a tree and chopping up wood for me from an earlier tree removal.

+ -1 moreI did not hire him because I thought his price on each tree was ridiculous!! That would have been a total of $2000.00 for all the trees. That was not including the yard.
Description of Work: I called Paul because of the reviews he had on this site. I told him I had two rentals home in the North Valley that had trees that needed to be groomed and, yards that needed to be cleaned. He came to the first house and said it would cost $500.00 PER TREE!!! There were a total of four trees on that property. I could not believe it, $500.00 per tree! I said thank you but, no thank you. He hesitated and asked well, "what kind of quotes have you gotten?" He started backtracking. I also told him I needed work done on my house in Santa Fe. Horrible!! I asked him to leave my property. Price gouging in this economy is dispicable. I just want someone who is honest and affordable. I can not seem to find that.

+ -1 morePaul came out to do an estimate of the tree trimming and to look at an infected tree. After providing an estimate, we scheduled an appointment to have the work done. He did some major trimming of a large elm tree as well as trimming a locust and a cypress that were growing too close together. I'm going to have himl come out in early spring to do treat an ash tree that was infected with ash beetle.
Description of Work: Trimmed dead branches, and sucklers from a large elm tree. Also did some trimming to a locust and cypress tree. Hauled away debris.

+ -1 moreCalled on the advice from a friend, Paul came and spent a lot of time discussing the project, gave great advice. Showed up on the promised days, did a very nice job on two large trees, hauled everything, cleaned.

Description of Work: A few years ago, he trimmed a tall elm tree. A year later, he treated for bugs. Recently, he has done basic trimming and removing dead branches.
