Shane, the person setting the appointments, was a little scattered. Fortunately it wasn't an indicator of how the work was going to go. Adam Noriega came out and did the service. He texted when he was on his way, came when he said, did the work, was very nice and professional. He knew his stuff and answered all of our questions thoroughly. I would definitely want Adam to do any and all work on our garage door. If we ever decide to replace the door we will use him for that too. Excellent customer service and professionalism.

He was very thorough and did do a multi point tune up on things I had ignored for years. The difference in performance is amazing. A great service.

After completing the inspection, one thing let to another and we decided to replace the motor, which we had been informed previously was under powered. As a result, I can no longer hear the door either closing or opening while in the house. We also have cellphone access to operate the door remotely. The technician was quite informed about his product and in no way pressured us to purchase the upgrade. He arrived promptly and left nothing behind. This is the second time Sears Garage Door Solutions has been to our home We are most pleased with the outcome.

It was okay. $169 is pretty pricey for what they did anyway. They were very good but overpriced. The work took about an hour. They were fine. They could provide a better Deal.

I contacted Sears Garage Door Solutions and Shane worked around my schedule to come out to look at my garage door. I was given a quote. Shane and his crew were back the next day and were on time and finished the job within the time time line that was estimated.

Great job - the serviceperson even gave us a brief tutorial on how to do regular lubrication ourselves.

After purchasing the $45 coupon for service and leaving my preferred dates and phone #, I received a call from Adam to schedule service the following day with a 4-hour window, 10-2. Adam called before 10 AM and arrived within 15 minutes to perform the service. I explained that the garage door was not completely closing from the wall panel or the remotes. He thoroughly checked the tracks, rollers, springs and wiring to diagnose the issue. He readjusted the sensor location and fixed the wiring. The door now operates smoothly and I have a 90 day warranty should it happen again. Adam was very friendly and professional. There was a $26.79 additional charge for the sensor adjustments. I was very pleased with the service call and will use Adam and Sears with any future issues.

In addition to checking the system, the rep. replaced the light bulb that had shattered. Yes, I know, it's usually easy, but not when I'm dealing with a sprain. Adam was efficient and helpful.

The Sears Tech arrived at the end of his 4-hour window for the appointment after calling first enroute. He tightened all the door bolts, checked the track and wheels and operation of the door opener. He found a screw missing on one of the door guides and also found the bottom door rubber track had slid/moved to one side. He recommended we contact whoever installed the door for service to correct. However, he could just have easily replaced the missing screw and moved the rubber door track himself but was in too much of a hurry to leave. Unfortunately, my wife did call the original installer (from 4 years ago) who arrived a few hours later. He replaced the missing screw and moved the door track into proper position. He then charged $80 for a service call, OUCH! Sears dropped the ball on this job and needs to make some serious improvements to keep customers.

There were no faulty parts. The only needed work was to lubricate all parts that required lubrication. The technician did all that was needed. After he was finished with his work, the door operated more quietly than before.

I was impressed because, they called me back right away. It includes installation and would include extra windows in the door for an extra $300 or $400. They are insulated.

It didn't work out well at all. They were a lot of money. They didn't fix it and it's still not quite working. Other than that, you cannot recommend them. They send out people on their list. They're on their own thing, but we had to have them come back twice and we bought extra stuff. It's still not working right. They charged a lot and they didn't fix it right. They offered to give me a brand new system for $450 to $500, however, the door worked perfectly. It was the remote that didn't work. I was told that they couldn't fix the remote but he sold me a new remote anyway. So, I bought a new remote and a new transmitter. Neither of which worked. I called them. He came back. The second time he came back, it was free. He said the only thing he could do is get a new door exported and, "In $50 I can install it today". I said, "No, I bought a starter for the door and it occasionally works now". I was dissatisfied. The guy himself was perfectly acceptable but he was trying to sell their merchandise which I did not like and he was either incapable of or unwilling to fix it and it costs me over $300 to be dissatisfied and not have the problem solved. Either he didn't know what he was doing or he was on the selling of equipment business, unsatisfactory. Very early on, he came back and sold me a new remote which works only occasionally and randomly and I have not called them back since then because I didn't want to be jerked around.
