Description of Work: I had to buy parts elsewhere, and Sears Garage Service installed them. The system has worked properly ever since.

Description of Work: I bought a Sears garage door opener in Dec 2014 and paid for Sears to install it.The installation was poorly done and parts were broken.I had to explain to the repairman how to adjust the chain and show him other areas of concern that had not been done as required in the instructions.Because he had not followed instructions, my heavy wood door dropped three times to the floor.I am surprised that the glass windows did not break.The job was finally completed one month later on a subsequent visit in late Jan 2015 by having Sears mail me the repair parts because this repairman would tell them he was not getting them in the mail.A classic tale of the tail wagging the dog.I tried to get a new worker to fix the problems but the Sears people in Albuquerque said he was the only one(?)in Las Cruces, New Mexico's 2d largest city. Thankfully, I had paid with a credit card and my fee was finally reimbursed in May.In hindsight I should have hired a local door company to do the job and preclude having to deal by phone calls with an office located some 225 miles away who have no control over people they send to your home to do repairs.In their advertising Sears shows workers wearing blue uniforms but in this case this was not so. Very unprofessional in appearance and in workmanship.I have substantial photographic records to document this poor installation and spent many a restless night due to this work which all my friends say I could easily have done myself - if I had the time which I did not.

Description of Work: They performed a garage door 'tune-up'. Many services were performed. They did a fine job.

Description of Work: They put in a new and very quiet motor to lift the garage door. Great guys, easy to talk with and good communicators as well as fantastic value.

Description of Work: They did a good job. It was done under my Sears maintenance agreement, so don't know the cost.

Description of Work: Had to replace a control board. It would have cost less to replace the whole unit. I am satisfied with the work and door works fine.
