It turns out that Sarah is the only female appliance-repair technician in the entire state of New Mexico. She says she's been doing it for 18 years. She definitely knows her stuff, and her work was neat, clean, and respectful of our home. She's also a pleasant person to deal with. She communicated ahead of time, both by email and by phone, to keep us apprised of the appointment. She arrived on-time, well-prepared with the necessary parts for our appliance, and completed the work quickly and efficiently. We definitely recommend her.

I called Sarah on the Saturday morning after July 4th- technically a holiday weekend. Even though she was not planning on working that day, she made an appointment for the same day anyway. She asked a few questions about what was wrong beforehand so that she could get parts before coming over- very prepared! She came during the time window, and was very friendly, knowledgeable, and informative. It was only 190 for parts and labor for a weekend call, very reasonable.

Sarah called about 30 minutes prior to our appointment time and said her previous appointment was in my neighborhood, ended early and that she could be at my house within 5 minutes and I quickly accepted. She questioned me about what we noticed that was different and when it started. She the washer on and quickly replicated the sounds it was making. She immediately advised against repair due to the age of the unit, almost 7 years and said it was a very labor intensive repair on a GE machine. Sarah pointed out that this was unique to how GE designs and assembles these machines and that the same repair on other manufacturer's machines would cost less than half the price on a GE. She offered to check on parts availability and price and I asked her to do so. She called her supplier and after a few minutes he gave her a date for the parts to arrive with a price, and had gotten out her book and looked up the number of labor hours. The repair price quoted was $835. She said we could replace it with a new Maytag, Whirlpool or LG unit, all reliable brands for less than $1,200. I agreed with her suggestion to not repair the unit. She said as long as we could live with the noise it made we could continue using it for probable a couple of months until it no longer functioned. I found Sarah to be very personable and honest. I'd recently read a Consumer Reports article about whether to repair or replace things that break and before calling Sarah I knew this GE washer was on the bubble. The next time I have a problem with any major appliance I won't hesitate to call Sarah again. Sarah was in my home for approximately 40 minutes.

Sarah came over promptly on time, and repaired our refrigerator. We needed a new condenser ( I believe?) and with the install and the part the grand total came to $160. Our fridge is fixed and we'd be happy to call her again:)

This was the 2nd time I had used her services. The other time my refrigerator had failed on a weekend. She came right out (on a Sunday) and fixed. Again the cost was very reasonable.

Overall I was extremely impressed with her punctuality, the quality of her work, and her professionally pleasant attitude. When I have appliance problems again, she will be the first person I called. On her previous visit she told me she had been school-trained in this trade, and when I called her for this service call she was in Austin, TX at a training convention for large appliance repair. She is not only knowledgable, but takes pride in upgrading her training on a periodic basis. I am usually skeptical when a rating gets all of the highest positive ratings, but in this case an all 'A' rating is warranted.
