He did a good job, but there were a couple of areas that needed to be fixed and initially he didn't want to come back to fix them, but did and did a good job. Overall he was really good and my wife liked working with him. it was just a little frustrating with the initial response for the follow up request.

The process was painless. Craig inspected the room that we wanted to tile and provided an estimate, including options for us to reduce the cost somewhat by doing some of the necessary prep work ourselves. We took advantage of those options, buying the tile directly, emptying the room of furniture and removing the existing carpet and baseboards. Craig showed up as promised and got started. There was an immediate issue because we had chosen to extend the tile already in the hallway into the den. However, the company that makes the tile had modified the color formula just a bit since the original tile was installed some years ago. The difference is slight but noticeable and Craig spotted it right away. He called a timeout to discuss various options. We settled on a strategy and he got right to work. The job was finished quickly, including hand-cut tile baseboards. After allowing the tile to set for the appropriate period, Craig returned and cleaned the new floor meticulously; he left the room spotless. Craig did a great job and we will certainly use him again. The project wasn't and quot;cheapand quot; but we got great value for the money that we spent. We believe it was an investment in our home.
Description of Work: Craig installed a tile floor in a den previously carpeted. The room is oddly shaped (not a rectangle) and includes a closet, representing in total about 160 square feet.
