The contractor was given a sample of the color of stucco. He bought the wrong color and said that he had forgotten which of the 3 colors on the color-card I requested. So - and this is a direct quote - he "guessed." Nevermind that this was an exterior stucco job and COLOR WAS IMPORTANT!! He didn't bother to call my cell phone with the cell phone in his pocket. Nope, he would rather just "guess". While his crew was applying the wrong color coat (light green. All structures on my property are DARK GREEN) I asked him if he had the right color. He said that it would "dry darker". It didn't. So now my newly stuccoed light green barn was going to have to be PAINTED!! I told him that I would buy the paint if he would have his crew do the painting. I thought that I was being WAY more than fair, seeing how this was HIS mistake. Never saw him again. I did speak with him on multiple occasions afterward and he always said he would be there "in a few days". Nada. Zip. Nothing. I ended up painting the barn myself.
