Quetzal Mechanical

It seemed to be okay on the first visit, June 28th, when they added one pound of freon. But within two weeks the problem was still happening. They came back, looked for a leak and could not find one, and added another pound of freon. When this happened again, I called a different company, who came out, open up the whole side of the air conditioner ( Which Quetzal had not done), found leaks, and recommended a new coil system to be installed. Quetzal had told me I would need a whole new unit.

Small business but the owner knew what he was doing and was there the entire time ensuring quality workmanship. Lot of interaction and witnessing of the process. The owner did not find. Very patient and professional. This company was highly recommended by family members.

He came out with his crew at eight and had air conditioning put and go on at 5 that day. He did an excellent job. He came in with a brand new high efficiency furnace and high efficiency air conditioner. He was here all day and did a beautiful job on the outside in the water line.

The estimate was fair and covered several points that concerned me in replacement and changes of my heating system (the system is probably about as old as the house...1947). The swamp coolers were shut down appropriately and I will have them return in the Spring to start them up again. I am glad to have them as a resource.

They put in central air-conditioning and a new HE furnace. Hauled away the old swamp cooler and sealed the roof. Did a beautiful job putting the furnace in and the air on the side of the house with nice piping that did not look awful. Looks like it goes with the house.
