Pro Plumbing

Sigi Ruiz is the owner of Pro Plumbing, and we had used his services before for the semi-annual servicing of our roof-mounted swamp cooler. He quoted us an excellent price for replacing the swamp cooler, and based on the recommendation of our realtor we hired him. He was able to schedule the work the same week, and showed up promptly with his crew. They removed the old swamp cooler from the roof, sealed off the resulting holes, and painted the caps to match the roof. They mounted the compressor unit beside the house, just where I wanted it, and ran the coolant lines up through the attic to the existing furnace. An electrician ran the lines from our circuit breaker box, and the electric lines and coolant lines were covered with an aluminum channel where they were exposed on the outside of the house, to which was mounted a switch box. Inside the house they pulled out the furnace, ran the new lines, and reinstalled the furnace. They added a condensation pump to draw out the water that the A/C coils produce and ran that line to the outside. They started at 9:00 am and were finished by 3:00 pm. They cleaned up all the mess and tested the A/C to make sure it worked properly. The crew was very friendly and polite, and the work was done very professionally. The only glitch was the next morning, when we discovered the furnace wasn't working. Sigi came right out himself (on a Saturday morning) and fixed it (a loose connection in the thermostat) at no extra charge. We are extremely pleased with the installation and the low price. Sigi Ruiz is a very nice man who is a pleasure to work with.
